Face like a bag of spanners.

I wouldn't like to pay for their breakfast (about a large person)

Go and throw a few fucks into them (telling someone off)

Blood and guts (the red and cream colour of a particular company's railway carriages)

Up and down like a whore's drawers (about uneven paving)

No two pounds of him hanging straight (an ungainly chap)

"... depois não te queixes que o arroz tem formigas"

word by word translated to "then don't complain there are ants in your rice". You use it a situation where someone is talking like they are acting or going to act careless, and you reply that "ok, you can do that but then don't come back complaining about current circumstances"

My dad used to comment on drivers ahead of him who were dawdling or indecisive, "Fer Christ sake, he's driving like a fart in a trance."

When a person of the younger generation stops in the street and stands close to my main paving mason and starts a loud mobile phone conversation he turns to one of his labourers and says, "Bradley......Start the saw."

A guy at work is fond of "you cum gurgling bug fucker".

I doubt it's old but it cracks me up.

It’s a derivative of “you cum burping gutter slut”.

It might be 'half a crown'  or even a 'tanner'

Used to have a bike mate called Dai Tanner.....who always burst into tears when he fell off!

Anyway.....it really fucked his head up that from Feb 71 he was always known as Dai Two and a Half New Pence!

Elevator doesn’t go to the top floor.

The lights are on but there’s nobody at home.
