It actually rained here a coupla days ago....cleared up last night & was 23f this morning w/ plenty of frozen fog. Definitely reminded me of riding my Seca & the XT in those type of conditions...still miss those times though.

That's what gives it character...personality as well... definitely NOT sitting in some shed covered in years of dust... Again, Nice work in keeping that beast alive for Shadow.

$6.04 a gallon for Supreme here in Elgin....filled the Equinox the other day....$106 to fill an 18 gal. tank. Gonna have to take out a loan the next time I fiil my truck w/ it's 25 gal. tank.

Pretty much Lyn....road repairs, local schools, street lights & City and County taxes....our wheelie bins are charged separately each month by a local Sanitation company.

Does that Beast have an enclosed chain?....looks like it. Always liked that concept...especially for winter riding.

Both of our dogs just went through some dental issues in the last month. Got a good vet clinic 18 miles away that have been great to our dogs for the past 4+ yrs. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix had an infection that made the right side of her snout swell up pretty good...anti-biotic shot & some cleaning....she snapped right out of it almost overnight. Then a week later, my 8 y/o Shorkie had 13 teeth pulled...didn't want her suffer from an infection...fortunately it all went well & both dogs are back to their old selves- being bossy & loud...lol All to the tune of just over $1100. It's been a spendy year thus far....I'm cringing over how much property taxes might be...which are due next month.

Praying for a speedy recovery for Shadow...

Between keeping my 5/8 of an acre property from catching fire...& diagnosing my GMC's fuel problem....I'm still searching & deciding on a LH throttle for the Eskute. It'll happen soon. Just paid House insurance & property taxes aren't far behind. Increasingly challenging to keep up with on SSD.... I will get there.

Exactly why I drink coffee at home most of the time....it's a helluva lot easier to go to the pub for just beer!
