Haha yeah would have been good had that been the case but between Monday morning and 11pm last night when I got home I did slightly over 56 hours driving over that 3 day period and worked closer to 63 hours and the time I wasn't working I was asleep so 9hours sleep over that time over that time was shit, don't think I'd last very long on that kind of balance. Today though I've been offered a start next Tuesday for the place I've been working at doing the holiday cover as one of the guys there has just handed his notice in, im working there again next week anyway so will find out the gen and will most likely go there as I'll be minimum £500 a month better off as its a 5 mile commute rather than 40 miles a day to Middlesbrough and back, and I get my own truck so don't have to keep transferring all my prozzie killing gear from one truck to another. It's a no brainer5 points

I may ride to work tomorrow so I might have a photo later. I'll see if I can find a nice hedge , lay-by or wheelie bin and park up next to it ..........5 points

Well that's me just getting up after my 21½ hrs shift at work yesterday.... Started 3am yesterday and drove up to thirsk then got a truck from thirsk to sherbert in your helmet, got dropped off in Bedford for a run down to Purfleet, a taxi to Leyton and then another gritter up to thirsk all in all about 18 hrs behind the wheel of trucks..... And work then got surprised when I told then am I fuck on the road today..... bunch of twats They really wouldn't have cared if I'd worked 24hrs straight dropped off the gritter and then gone off on to another pick up and they say we're not under duress to get the job done4 points

You mean the engine doesn't run on metal.... well you learn something new everyday. That was a question from Pete, he thought petrol was just a lubricant to help the metal flow better3 points

Good question , but as he only drove about an hour on the first journey and then about 6 hours on the second journey I'd say he was well within his driving hours .3 points

Stopped at an overlook - that's Mexico across the Rio Grande River. Some Mexicans had set up a display of crafts they made for sale. Somehow they heard that the Border Patrol was coming and they jumped up and ran towards Mexico - leaving all of their stuff behind. As we drove pout, 3 Border Patrol trucks were pulling in. Funny. You can see some of the crafts in the background of the pics.3 points

Wait, there’s a video of me going there for the picture: There was a huge guard dog sleeping on the other bank, with some children playing around. As soon as I started crossing the river he gave me a look and stood up paying attention. I was happy to go back3 points

Weather back home is bad so we're going to stay here for 3 days and wait for the snow to melt a bit. Dave and Debbie head back Friday morning. Going to rent a car to get around here for a few days as the weather is gonna be a bit iffy. More pics later.........2 points

Ooooooooooh , it could turn out to be a fight between the big BMW's .1 point

I think it's the right way Dave as it's been letting fuel through but as you say it was starting to fall apart internally , probably was going to block the flow eventually. It was fitted by the previous owner along with a chain that reminds me of the 428 size chains we used to fit to our small bikes back in the 80's where it has stretched soooooooooooooo much I fitted a Kawasaki part to replace the fuel filter, do you think the engine will blow up now ? What you say @Tym1 point
