Wow you ate some great stuff while you were away! It's made me hungry and as I'm in the middle of some more basic experimental kettle cooking it has suddenly made the meatballs I'm doing seem very unappealing 😂

I normally have a Full English breakfast once every two or three months so it was a surprise to be eating it two days in a row. Yesterday my son appeared and said I fancy a Full English, would you like one? Next thing I know he's been shopping and is serving up the an excellent breakfast for everyone. He really nailed it. Might have to admit to being a tiny bit proud, not many people master getting all the components on the table piping hot and nicely cooked but he did. The bacon was crispy and he even put a touch of garlic in the butter for the mushrooms. I had this small one, everyone else's was about double the size! I did feel like Mr Creosote by the end of it and have to lie down for an hour after 🤣

Smoked salmon and cucumber jelly, tasted great, not sure in my attempts to make a little flower of smoked salmon in the middle were entirely consistent, some of it looks in needs of surgery 😆

Probably looks better tilted like that. Lunch lady at the bus depot canteen treated you right with that cheese sauce, too!
