don't call it blood sausage Perdro mate, you'll have the philistines vomiting at the very thought, call it " black pudding" and they'll fight each other for it. ?

Are you okay Pedro, that food actually looks edible.

I’m ok, it’s great. You can tell I didn’t cook it.

Sofia’s british dessert:

Aubergine lasagna is the best way to describe this, it's a mushroom ragu as tomato sauce, sauteed or fried aubergine instead of pasta, and a ricotta / mozzarella mix as white sauce, and parmesan on top

before the oven:

and after, it was very nice:

Crikey that looks good, made me hungry but it’s Mother’s Day so I’m not making any food today, so great ay, except in reality I’m just going to be hungry until some sort of takeaway turns up ?

Oven roasted vegetables and rice.

White basmati rice cooked with fresh mint, mushroom omelette, and spinach and soy marinated onion salad:

Entree, toast with olive oil, melted sheep's cheese and the rest of the salad, I liked it a lot:

As an entree, do you need more than some delicious wine, some cheese and dried meat?

Yes, Sofia's grilled aubergine and pepper dip, most delicious ever dipping sauce:

I’m ok for now, I settled for an earlier posts suggestion of ‘Sophias British desert’ based on the idea the chocolate will have been digested before the fish n chips arrive at 6pm

I am sadly quite excited as I’ve not had fish n chips for at least a year. Hope it’s not as greasy as I remember! ??

I had fish and chips in a pub in London once, not greasy at all and I really liked it.

It can be really good which is why it’s so popular (plus it’s usually much cheaper than a lot of other takeaways) but done badly... oof you won’t want it again for a loooooong time!
