I realised quite late in my life after knowing a lot of very wealthy people nearly all of them are complete cunts. You dont get or stay rich by being a nice or good person. They think theyre immune from the normal rules of decency and life must bend to suit them and having a lot of money makes that happen. My experience of very wealthy people is that theyre toxic. If I asked for her place in Spain she’d likely give it to me but the real price for it would be unbearable!

Today will be a good test Tym to see how it’s going. I haven’t had any phantom limb pains for over 28 days so fingers crossed

No. She has a mansion in Mijas but she hasnt been there for a very long time. Being on her tod and a bit frail now she prefers it here. She lives in a posh part of Buckinghamshire. Which isnt far away enough!

Mr Slowly had a shoulder repair and was told it couldnt be done until he stopped playing, eventually the damage was so severe his arm stopped working and gave him constant pain. They did the repair and the consultant told him it was the most difficult repair he’d ever done and in no uncertain terms he must not play rugby. The surgery worked well and 6 weeks later I drop my sons off at rugby and go to say hello to Mr Slowly who’s coaching. Except he’s nowhere to be seen, everyone on the side of the pitch saw me and stopped talking cos the mad mother was on the pitch playing! “But but but they were short a player and the game would have been cancelled if I hadn’t….”

I played rugby today well for all of about 20 mins before I tried tackling one of the oppo with my head and knocked myself unconscious.....so slowly has confirmed a bout of concussion

What a crap weekend! Came back to Blighty (because its Mr Slowlys 50th next week and we’re going to Dublin to celebrate) so my mum turns up here unannounced with a gift for me, I ask Mr Slowly to tell her Im unwell and cant see her (which is true though its a duty free induced illness ) so she offloads a load of bullshit on him that was meant for me, its stuff thats going to stir up a boat load of trouble. So pissed off. Im now going to have to go and see her and read out the riot act and if she doesn’t acquiesce immediately then Im going to have to delete her from my life. Its a tad discombobulating loving someone and wanting them to fuck off and die at the same time

Feeling tired today. Up at 3am yesterday and went to Wigan to collect a 3ltr engine and manual gearbox for the mates Capri. His car started life as a 30ltr auto Ghia. Last owner swopped engine and box for a 2.8 auto out of a Granada. We've now got everything we need to make it a 3ltr manual. Chap we got the parts from has this in his garage amongst other things. Today I will be mostly knock out an old brick fireplace, resting and heading for the pub.
