In Portugal, the most traditional Christmas dinner is salted codfish, with potatoes, cabbage, boiled eggs, and onion / olive oil sauce. I didn't really care for it as a child but really appreciate it now, it goes amazingly well together although I suppose not so for most British palates. On Christmas day lunch, it varies a lot but where I'm from it's usually roasted mutton or kid with either potatoes or rice, it's quite good. This year I won't have that as on the 25th I'll be on the bike, riding. Turkey is not something that we cook the same way you do, roasted whole with stuffing, it's been imported by cultural assimilation but not really ours nor very common.6 points

Grilled asparagus and pesto linguini Asparagus frittata A sort of African dish with plenty of spices, based on onions, potatoes and sardines, I loved it: Atlantic Seaside typical dish, a rich Cataplana of monkfish and prawns. Cataplana because it's a stew cooked in one of these Using some leftover squid stew, plus a tomato and anchovy base sauce, for a pretty nice pasta Winter in Portugal, soft sheep's cheese from the Serra da Estrela, some bread and red wine, old school! And again, oven cooked codfish, this time an economical cut, very tasty using lots of olive oil and onions4 points

I have detested the salted cod and boiled stuff all my life, until @Pedro Mum told me about the trick that makes it all very delicious!! Now I enjoy it like never and will make it for me and my Dad! In the UK I learned to make a great Turkey, with the invaluable help of Nigella, but just me and my Dad,we will stick to the cod!!2 points

I gets a bonus too, over 25 years old, no emissions testing required. Turns out because the Federal Govt set a 25 year lifetime requirement for mandated emissions equipment on cars and because they wrote the law while getting lap rides and drinking free booZe they ddint realize they also wrote in a exemption for any vehicle older then 25 years old. To be fare when they wrote the law most American cars wernt lasting near whenthe last payments were due....2 points

Depends on which State or territory like say Guam has to say about it, they regulate that level of ownership, the federal govt just sets standards that i ignore for the fun of it.... Connecticut no MOT style of inspection. All i needed to put this car back on the road was money and the original title, no inspection at all... They will give you fix it tickets and then you get the gloves up ass treatment, and the guy carries a firearm when doing it, has a badge too..2 points

There’s a picture of him and his bezzie Farage wearing a Panama hat at some event and someone posted “is it just me or do these guys look like the baddies from Indiana Jones?” This pic would fit well with it2 points

It was all the rage with the boy racers back in the day when the big bumpers were mandated for all pre 1988 americans , now they are rare, and reallly freaking awsome bumpers whats not to like as the horn still doesnt work. The batteries in the dash probably leaked, he bought a replacement that doesnt use batteries for me. as for these bumpers...You can "tuck" them by draining the oil in the shocks, just dont tell Brian at the shop. Has to be by the book, this guy makes GSers look like fairweather owners who dont give a chit. The collector market for unmolested e30's is going nuts..... cut up rusted boy racers get shreddded, thats the market here right now.2 points

What I find funny is some clown always gets sent out to do the media rounds and deny everything! Last week Raab was trying to insist that it wasn't a party there last Xmas when the photo on the screen showed the guy next to Bozo had tinsel round his neck and a party hat on his head!2 points
