Probably.......but you can never be sure.

Sometimes in this town shops just don't up at all on a normal working day without any warning or explanation.

It'll probably quieten down in January and it'll get back into a more relaxed pace.

Same here thats why I was surprised the supermarket was going to be open. The relentless march of the huge supermarket chains making their employees work on public holidays that everyone else is taking off. Think I'd rather it was shut!

Rode about 900/1000 km today, with a long stop in the middle for crossing between continents! The Moroccan part was done in a rain storm on small country roads with no navigation aids. Am now drinking wine!

New shoes all around, and a spare.

The van now has tires that can drive on the highways in the winter.  You can be ticketed and have to pay if you drive with the wrong tires in Canada.  Plus we got our spare carrier installed and a spare purchased.  Feel much better with that.

Then the 4Runner got some new All Terrain tires, some lovely Nokians.  I haven’t gone far on them, but damn they are nice tires so far.

Had I of known how useful our fireplace would be with the number of times the heatings packed up I would have asked to have a fire place out in every room

We have also have so many power cuts here I started looking at generators

We only have the radiators for heating......can't even have a gas fire installed as there is no gas supply into any other part of the bungalow..just into the kitchen.

We don't have mains gas so when that goes up the spout and I can't stay in the room with the fire I use fan heaters

I've tried underfloor heating in two rooms, it has broken in both and once the circuit under the flooring faults your looking at ripping up the flooring. Not great. The warm floors were a delight when they worked but not worth it.
