Women will lose minerals during pregnancy as the parasitic nature of baking a baby means the goods have to come from somewhere (hence pregnant women can often have trouble with their teeth). There’s also at the very basic the idea that women’s frames are smaller, the bones are finer to start with so simply have less to lose before it effect the bones n joints.
