Been out to a small classic car n bike meet at a place called Skeyton. Haven't been before but although cold plenty to see. Mostly cars but still good.

The wife had me out walking again this afternoon i'm sure shes trying to kill me off the walk back up from it was long and steep We visited the tallest straight drop waterfall in south wales Henrhyd Falls. Not very impressive today as the flow was low but a bit of fame attached to it as it was used as the entrance to the Batcave in the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.

One of my new sites is about 30 feet from Dennis Severs' House, an old Georgian home that has had every room restored to a different period and is open to paying visitors. I had no idea who Dennis Severs actually was until reading this today. I will do the tour soon. The house is easily spotted as it is the only one in the street with a flame fluttering 24/7 in the real gas lamp outside. That was a short walk Bob probably 20 minutes down to it but its a steep gravel covered path on the way down and after that there's some steep wooden steps on the other side which aren't too bad really coming back up the hill had me stopping to rest on every tree i'm just not fit at all LOL2 points

In the late 80s I had to a street light scout in the area every 2 weeks and I learnt early on to park in Mile End Road and walk in, because if the lights were out you couldn't see to turn the car around without taking out a garden wall.
