Quite a scenic area you live in there Skip....👍:classic_cool:

Not bad is it! This is Vélez Blanco so a little inland from my place but lovely nonetheless.

The day started well too! 😜

So fast it would mess your hair has your driving by....you'd probably end up at the hairdresser to straighten the mess....

If he is driving a Miata he will already be at the hairdresser's, in fact he will be the hairdresser.

got out for an hour on the bike yesterday, nearly home whn i came across 2 "yoofs" on mobylettes ( 50cc bikes) they were busy dismanteling one of the bikes so I stoppe to see if I could help. They'd somehow managed to stripp the threads of the exhaust header fitting to the cylinder. They had a good selection of tools with them, and didn't seem overy phased by the situation. I went and got an assortment of bolts and washers from the nearby hardware store for them and left them to it.  As night was falling I did check they had phones to call someone if they couldn't fix it.

lovely day for a spin

Been out washing Devon off the bike.   All tucked away now nice and clean.

And yes I know washing my bike in the rain is questionable in mental heath terms but the dirt was bothering me 😳

Yesterday - clearing up leaves and smoking the place out burning them.

Today - village Remembrance Day parade / service.  I have a lot of local military and ex military friends. They go straight to the pub from the service and stay there until chucking out time. I will wander up there in a bit for a couple.

You are going to try to fix it yourself? What could possibly go wrong?

Seems a lot of dough for a centrifugal fan, but if the thing dates from 2008 you are lucky you can find parts for it. Every time I want a spare part it “ sorry sir, we stopped making those 20 mins after you originally bought it”….

Bank Holiday today  (rememberence day in France is on the day , not the nearest sunday) adn bizarrely nice weather, up to 17deg c and blue skies, so, having shovelled a 2nd coat of varnish on the shutter from the kids room and a first coat of rattlecan black on the ironwork for it, I got the bike out and was about to leave when a mate rang asking if I was thinking of riding and if so leaving when? I replied "now"  we met up down the road a little way and ended up doing somewhat over 200km in a loop north and east from home.  Great afternoon out

Not much plan for today , see if i can fix that electric motor, might take out the atv for a little run , to test out my silicone job on the fender flares...lol....and probably stop by at the tire shop to see if the winter tires of what you might call my adoptive daughter are in...

Have you thought about just sourcing an alternative electric motor? It won’t be a motor made specifically for that unit, I’m sure there are any number of alternatives that could be sourced for significantly less cash.

Are you sure it is running in the right direction?
