Stopped to have a look at this on the way to another site it was a bit cold and windy, I wanted to have a look right over the edge but discovered I've developed a fear of heights i never had when i was younger

Some from today's ride. The second picture showing stone under the water is what I went to see, but the tide was extra high and covered it up. Beaumont Quay, Thorpe-Le-Soken (quite a way from the sea), constructed using stones from the medieval London Bridge. And last picture a medieval bridge still being used by vehicles in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

Went to Willsbridge Mill for a walk today. I’ve been driving past it for over 40 years so it was about time for a walk/visit.

All started in lockdown Pete, it’s my special time with my son. He loves going walking. It takes its toll on me but I love it as well 👍

You got more energy than me Bob.......just walking to the toilet is enough for me!

Be a lot easier if I could roll my chair there! :classic_laugh:

Apparently eels have come back after a long absence which is supposed to be a sign of cleaner water and there is a regular seal appearance, although they are probably lost.

I thought Seal had given up singing

Milton Keynes is bollocks.

I know it well.....lived there for 18 months 96/97.

The place itself is pleasant and great to get around.......but the people are just fucking horrible.

Fixed that for you

It was the only place that we ever experienced Racism.

I remember one incident when the kids were invited to a Birthday Party, and 3 mothers were left in the outside area and not invited inside.

One Welsh (my wife), one Irish, and one black woman!

Maybe they just didn't like the women?

No.....they were just racist fucks!

The Irish used to have a strong presence there with their own pubs (think it was the Green Man in Stony Stratford) and even a Dentists surgery full of Irish dentists.

I remember going there and being made very welcome.....and I asked the Dentist if they got many English going there.

And he said....."We get one or two......and we make sure they get pain".

I can dig it! :classic_laugh:
