Full disclose, my salary is 860 euros a month, wont get rich on that anytime soon! If it wasnt for Pedro i would be in under the bridge! Fortunately he is not with me for the money, I think its the sunny side of me that he likes. Its hard for everyone to pay 500 pounds, but that is a lot less then if it was for humans without NHS. Would be lovely if we could help all the animals and their humans for free, what a wonderful world that would be! Lets hope AI is kind and takes us there!!!3 points

Turns out I left my bike at the shop. The clutch "rattle" with clutch disengaged at neutral has been getting louder, my dude says it's probably clutch bearing or clutch cylinder / lever bearing or whatever, both are ordered and are probably here between wednesday and thursday. However, there is a chance that the rattle comes from the gearbox bearings, in which case we will know about it on thursday/friday after replacing the current ordered parts. If it's the gearbox it'll be a proper job to get that out and replaced, it'll take a while and will definitely not be ok for Italy next week, which means an alternative vehicle for the trip. I'm hoping for the better, as there is no other bike I'd like to take more than my own.3 points

Well after a quick stop at Tesco in Mablethorpe (I shit you not), I checked the weather forecast and whatever I did I was likely to end up riding home in the rain so I headed up and across the Humber bridge and did a sprint up the A19 and I am now home in Edinburgh. I did 355 miles today, in total since Thursday afternoon I have done 980 miles and I didn't use the bike at all on Saturday. A few pictures from the trip. Pink BMW for @Six30 because he is a puff. Yellow BMW for @Marcel le Moose Fondler because he is too chicken to race @busabeast Water tower and zombie research centre. Wildlife. AJS, the real thing, tax ran out 18 years ago, it was in use and obviously well maintained.2 points

He's now 12 and has had two major liver operations to take cancer out. Only has a third of the original liver left, so the vet is not keen on putting him through unnecessary anesthesia or operations. The librela helps him be ok for most of the time, but it's been a month today since his last shot so it's wearing down. When I'm here at his house, I take him out on the car to go to the forest or a park every morning regardless of anything, he's pampered and spoiled for being such a good boy. When I'm not here, my brother is, and being his favourite human there is nothing else he likes more.1 point
