  1. My youngest works in a bakery, at the end of the day the staff are told take whatever you want home as the day’s leftovers go in the bin. I said I wouldn’t mind a pasty if you get the chance. Typical of her, over the top. Now the freezer is full

  2. At some point the Chinese bikes will meet the quality and reliability standards that Europe requires and then it will be game over for the japs. It is possible that some of the Chinese bikes have already reached this standard but they need to be proven over time.

  3. This was probably the only time i ever had a topbox on a bike and will admit it was useful on that trip but because we were riding off road anything inside it got smashed to bits

  4. Just had a blast up to Dameralls to give the Hornet a run. Of course my Shadow had to come and be fed. Nice CBF1000 parked outside. We had a look around the showroom but they must have sold loads of stock mostly new current range stuff. Of course Shadow didn’t want her photo taken then proceeded to walk into everyone and scowl at me. Stroppy as always.

  6. Awesome. Tony rode up there one year and forgot that he had a can of that puncture stuff (Finilec) in his top box. When he opened his box to get something out it had exploded and there was white gooey stuff over everything

  10. When I was but a callow youth the Japs turned up with their bikes and I got a Suzuki T500 instead of a used Triumph, the Triumph guys weren't happy but they were fuckwits anyway and had to ride British bikes due to being club members but many of them told me that they wished that they had never joined the club because British is best and the zing zings wouldn't last and now look at the market.

  23. I am off to a Audiology appointment at 12, think I have saved enough money for the car park fee Just hope they can stop this aid echoing, i can hear very little, but what i can, has a echo....and they will go through the usual implant spiel, there is a very long waiting list for the implant surgery, I could end up doing a Pete while on the waiting list.

  30. I had a pass out today so I decided to take a ride down to Hampshire to have a look at the new premises of Rugged Roads. Headed for Shaftesbury and then took the B3081 to Ferndown which is great road. I stopped in Ferndown for a coffee and sausage sandwich ............. Rugged Roads don't really sell bikes (apart from the Kove rally bike ) but they have a great showroom full of clothing and parts for your adventure bike . I bought some new gloves while I was there ............. My mate Andy popped by as he lives quite close so we decided to go for a coffee at Sammy Miller's which is also close by. they also had some Harley Davidson's parked outside ..............

  31. Good evening guys to all! Here's a fairly quick dirt lap with the Tenere 700 in the country streets of Kavala, Greece , tangible waters of Nestos river. Speed, action, drifts and lots of enthusiasm. All this fades towards the end in a muddy place with lots of pine trees . Here is the video that made with Gopro 12 at 90% of footages and one small 10% with Sony a7iv Enjoy !

  36. Today 0-13, its a factor of being out in the countryside, if there's no clowds the heat fucks off and the nights get very cool, my windscreen was iced over at 7.30am last week when i had to go to town early, meanwhile I found a pic of Bucky and his Facebook friends.

  38. West of Faro is where old money goes on holidays, between Faro and Vilamoura. It’s nice but not cheap, lovely beaches too.

  40. Faro is the Algarve’s capital city. The beach isn’t accessible from the town, you catch a boat or get there by car. But, there’s also two islands also accessible by boat, both without roads or cars, one of them deserted except for a restaurant. The other has some houses and a few restaurants and bars but also sand streets and a very chill environment. Perfect places to spend a day, find a deserted location and enjoy the clearest ocean water you’ll see in mainland Europe. These two islands are paradise. My parents used to have a house in Faro, so I’ve only been there on the bike, I loved it, going to the beach and parking right on the sand. It’s the least touristy town in the Algarve, although obviously there’s tourists everywhere during summer.
