Great patience & teaching @Saul!....I'll never forget my youngest boy getting the hang of clutch use on the XR....the grin on his face said it all. I was well chuffed when he sent me this pic of him doing a trackday on his Ninja 400 a few years back...something I always wanted to do but never quite got there...5 points

I had my back wheel step out on some gravel on Sunday just gone. No where near as bad as yours but still a full clench moment, didn’t help that I had my youngest pillion. I did laugh afterwards once I had calmed down a little. What struck me was my 16 year old daughter shouting ‘what the fuck was that dad’. Haven’t heard her use that language before.5 points

Wow, thankfully your doctor was on the ball and got you to the right place pronto! At least we won't be getting any photos of this one! They'll be telling you to exercise now, so you'll no longer have any excuses! Speedy recovery mate.4 points

Bloody hell Pete youm falling to bits. I had 4 stents 2 years go, took couple of months to settle down again but felt pretty good ever since. Glad they caught it in good time before you had a heart attack. . Do what you are told and get well soon mate.4 points

Funnily enough I have a M1 Ipad pro 12.9" and while it will do lots of things well once you got used to the clunky Ipad OS I only really use it for watching stuff now, everything is so much easier on a MacBook in comparison. The one Apple product I wouldn't buy again. It's a great bit of kit but I just don't use it's potential. Not sure if it is a clunky operating systems or an old and clunky operator4 points

Sorry to hear that Pete and hope all goes well. Anyway, are there any fit nurses there to give you a bed bath? I suppose you’ve been banned from masturbating as you can’t get too excited. Just a thought, do you want me to pop around and see your missus?3 points

I noticed my brake light was not working, I had had the relays out the other day to clean the terminals while I had the battery off and had refitted the brake relay incorrectly. What a twat!3 points

Belts are supposed to be changed every 15,000 miles but mine must have been done already as they looked like new. To be honest Pedro we hardly ever come across a belt that has just snapped on it's own. It's usually because a tensioner or roller has seized , our mechanic and boss can tell if they need changing just by feeling the tension and visually inspecting them. We don't don't just change them because of time period or mileage .3 points

Front wheel stepped out on me, going wide around the traffic exiting a roundabout, got onto the gravel in the centre, front wheel went and sent me into the path of the oncoming cars, it was a fun moment that nearly kills you but makes you smile2 points

Pay no regards to this welshman, @Tango, the twat fell victim to his own self grandiosity and needed the collective to beg his exalted illuminated self to stay and lead us towards the light. So he left, entirely on his own. The ride report section will never be the same, though.2 points
