I had a laugh yesterday when out shopping with the Mrs. I was taking the trolley back to get me quid, when I noticed a guy in front of me with a fuck off great big pair of pliers in his back pocket. He was using them to pull all the pound coins left in some of the trolleys. He made four quid. I know times are tight but FFS4 points

For those of you in UK , don't forget that the clocks go forward tonight. I wouldn't want some of you being late for church in the morning3 points

Good point but then I'd have to sell either the Yamaha WR or the Ducati so in that case it would probably be the Ducati that would go. I absolutely love the DR650 but I'm on tippy toes when I come to a halt and sometimes I struggle to hold it up in those situations . If the CF450 has a lower seat height then it's worth considering.3 points

Having owned one of these 20 years ago I can tell you that it sounds very clattery! The motors on these are very quiet compared to the aircooled 600's.3 points

After spending this month attending to domestic maintenance.... just rode UP to the top of my steep driveway, sitting down....in 7th gear- on PA level 3. Still gotta install the electronic shifter & tighten up a few fasteners...but just about got the brake pads enbed'd. Gonna pump the shock up a bit as well. Might just have to do a ride report tomorrow.... My sore, piss-poor excuse for feet are mucho appreciative of this Beast that's an absolute blast to ride!3 points

That his pal BillyBob has a moonlighting gig?.... Actually, this is only 3 short blocks from my place & I gotta say that they sell the best damn meat around! ...& cheaper than all the big name grocery stores that are 20 miles away. All my buddies & neighbors who hunt, take their kills there to get dressed & wrapped. I'm about to pay them a visit for another 50 lbs. of burger & some steaks....my freezer is gettin' empty!2 points

If I had to guess from that video I'd say that the 'bashplate' (which looks home made) is resonating from the vibes of the bike . If I was interested I ask him to take it off and then listen to it, big singles are nearly always noisy compared to other engines.2 points

That title oughta get Pete's attention.... But to his dismay, my new Mullet is NOT on top of my head.... it's actually the model name of this 2024 CyberBike eMtB I treated myself to just before Christmas. Most Emtb's crank around 85nm of torque as a typical spec....this gem puts out 130nm of torque....it get's right with the program! It comes with a 29" front wheel while the rear is a 27.5".....so, following dirtbike type geometry more & more. I had to cough up an extra $348 for an electronic LH shifter, which I should have early next week. Then I can finish off stream-lining the handlebar to make it a bit easier to operate w/ my hook. With 4-piston hydraulic calipers @ both ends....anodised hubs, 34mm fork, & a 1x10 gearset....there won't be much of anyplace this beast can't tackle. Better brakes than all 25 motorcycles I've owned! Thing'll stop as well as it goes... It even came with tools to finish the assembly process. It has 5 pedal-assist levels that can also be operated with a LH thumb throttle....so I should be able to ride UP my steep driveway....sitting down on the saddle.1 point

I'm torn between Sofia's and Bob's, I like the trees in Bob's picture but you can clearly see the photography expertise behind Sofia's camera crew. I think the bike looks nice on what is a pretty cool bit of road. I sense a lack of love for the big GS though, even though I washed it1 point

I voted for @boboneleg photo this month, brilliant picture. Looks more like a photographers composition rather than a happy snap. Love it1 point

It's got to be sofia's even if she did have a camera crew with her, would have been better if she'd had her knee down through the corner1 point
