I’ve been called lots of things, but never that before . My wife worked for a company where the MD was a colonial type, very well spoken with a large period house in its own large grounds. Like everyone else he had to put his bins out at the end of the ( long) drive on bin day. One day he went to collect them and saw that someone had spray pained “ cunt” on one of them. He wheeled it in, didn’t bother to clean the paint off but went and got a spray can and painted “Rich” in front of cunt and just put it out as normal the next week.

I have been a ride .................................... to the petrol station Treated the scoot to some Tesco Momentum petrol, bet it does 100 mph now. Fucking stupid idea for a fuel filler on the scoot...... 50p of petrol went out of the overflow, now my shoes stink of petrol..

12f this morning.....but a ton of blue sky to be had. Spent $250 on a new battery for the Equinox today....then another $850 this Friday for some new tires. Should see delivery of the new shifter for the Mullet tomorrow...

Walked back from Belton this morning, (couple of miles south of my house) and had to take my coat off. This afternoon I was out Martham which is a few miles up the coast and the breeze was bloody freezing. Now sitting here with a fat body warmer on.

I just got one of these from one of the Chinese emporiums. Works surprisingly well and packs down pretty small. Gets the back wheel of the floor.

I used to do some night shifts there, sometimes had call outs to work on top of these beasties, Kone conveyors for offloading coal and grain off the ships. I have fond memories of climbing up them in the dark blowing a gale on wet oil covered checker plate flooring with handrails that were only hip high and they were never horizontal when i had to go up them, not scary at all honest lol

Great bit of kit, I did everything from the technical trails in the Peak District to touring right over to Colditz Castle, down through the Czech Republic, up and down the Stelvio Pass and home through Switzerland and France. One of my most favourite bikes ever……and as you know, I’ve had a few!
