Thank you, been riding motorcycles since I was 18 and ride a 2018 Harley Davidson Street Glide. It relieves my stress being a mom of 2 sons whom are 14 and 16.Even ride it to the John Deere,Kubota and IH Case dealership picking up small parts.I own a farm equipment, tractor and heavy equipment repair shop.Even has helped me through my hard time when I lost my husband in January to cancer.A veteran as well, did 8 proud years in the United States Marines.5 points

Yeah just a little worrisome I must admit, and the amount of people who just think it’s over and not wearing masks now is growing, and a lot of them are in the 70 age group.2 points

That's really bad news, mate. None of the vaccines are 100%, but for them both to die from Covid-19 is very worrying. Condolences to all involved.2 points

If he can act like a twat pumping that ratchet he can do one push and lift that bike. Admitedly, not like he’s pretending to try, though1 point

You don't need a jack. Adrenaline and embarrassment usually suffices.1 point

I am willing to lay my bike gently down and show how to pick it up to one of you guys who say it can’t be done. That’s a tall as fuck guy on the video, no way he can’t lift that bike if he didn’t to grab it like a bag of oranges.1 point

We should probably start one for all you ancient fuckers, William can be your patriarch and you can swap stories about pissing yourselves and other common occurrences in your day to day lives, assuming you can remember anything recent.1 point

The dealer here has thus far proved pretty fair, they fucked something up when I imported the bike but made it right, they have even given me a couple of free mot's, I got them to fit the brake discs because they gave me such a good price that it would have worked out only £40 less for me to do them myself. They don't try to upsell me on anything and know I do most of my own work so I'm not a cash cow for them. Even so, I popped in the other day for a couple of side stand pucks and the parts girl gave me a couple of promotional ones she had in a draw rather than sell me some of the ones they have on the shelf. I even get free coffee and very often a wee cake or some such from the girl in the merchandise department so all in I have nothing bad to say about them.1 point

There were some good times in the 60,s . My dad got his 1st car in 1963.....a huge Austin 16.....he looked after that car like my mum did the house. Every Sunday he would religiously wash it, and clean out the interior, then polish the seats, resulting in anyone sat in the back sliding from one side to the other on corners.....any corner, as the Austin 16 did not do fast in any shape of form. He was able to buy the car courtesy of my mum........she won...wait for it!!.... £500 at the local bingo hall........which would be equivalent to around £10,000 nowdays.....it also paid for her to visit her sister in America. That year I got everything I asked for at Christmas.1 point

I hope @William (Bill) stays.......he's an interesting guy! And he gives the rest of us some hope for the future......after all, how many of us are going to reach 84, let alone go touring on a motorcycle?1 point
