Not much going on today beside running for a chace the ace ticket...don't know if you have those local lottery, think its up to 1.4 million and there's 3 cards left...washed the truck to get the salt of of it...and possibly are first snow storm for tomorrow...a foot of snow..

My missus loves the whole Xmas thing and one year we had a ‘heated discussion’ about the merits of decorations……she got the hump and took them all down on Boxing Day while I was out on my bike……..didn’t bother me in the slightest but you should have seen the disappointment on her face for the next week or so.

Had a trip down to the seafront this morning to gawp at the damage caused by three separate tornadoes that joined together and battered the seafront yesterday. Have to say it’s was awful a few miles in land and probably one of the worst storms I’ve ever witnessed.

Plenty of clearing up for them to do poor sods but at least nobody was injured which is a miracle really.

Looks like the tornadoes came in low and fast, what were they carrying, 500lb bombs wouldn't be that kind

Went out for a mooch about on the Hornet now I fitted the new battery.   Went up to Damerells but it is closed until the new year.   The Hornet rode like a dream, I all too often forget what it is like.   Ended up coming home after 40 miles or so, just to bloody cold for my old carcass

Spent all afternoon fitting How Highs Christmas present and repairing the fairing panels they mount two.   Both were cracked and split where he dropped the death trap on separate occasions.   Anyway two new front indicators a tube of epoxy putty and a load of new push button fixings and it’s holding together again.

Is he one of those who's tyres cant keep him upright?

If so I think he should look at how he's riding before he runs out of his 9 lives, and hopefully long before he does something big

You never know, he is 19 and dumb as a rock but I can’t claim to have been much different at his age.    To my knowledge he has been down 3 times in 2 years.   I can’t claim to have been much different at that age.    He treats Shadow right and I genuinely like him so I hope he gets through.    Shadow won’t let him hang with the numpties anymore so that is a positive.   She bollocks him about bad riding

Yeah i sent my cg125 down the road 6 days after riding, then nothing till my big 1 at 6 months of riding,  then my second bike i sent it down the road a few times so at his age I too was abit of a numpty on the bike.

Hopefully he continues to treat shadow right and gets through the youth stage on bike
