SW winds blowing pretty good here today...bring the rest of the leaves down around here. Mrs. hook & I are recovering nicely from our weekly Friday-night Tequila shooting. Taking a day this next week to finally repaint our bedroom...about 6 yrs. overdue.

I fitted a diesel heater in my garage, one of the best things ive bought for it. Bloody brilliant thing. Garage is mostly uninsulated so its gets a bit chilly in the winter - the heater is supposed to be 5kw but 3-4 is prob more accurate. Im considering getting an old radiator to run the exaughst through to improve the efficiency a bit further. 

I have a wood stove in there to but that is a bit of a pain to light and keep feeding. 

I did take it the diesel heater apart last summer and replaced all of the fuel lines as they were a bit shitty.

they're all fucking morons and should be shot on site, their "club" should be held responsable for any damage caused, pay for the extra policing neccessary and for the loss of earnings for all the town centre shopkeepers and restaurants who are obliged to close for the day and board up their window's.   I fucking hate them with a passion that I struggle to hide. Not specifically Marseille... ALL of them.

Yes a few friends have them running in their sheds and they work well...I just didn't want to punch a hole in the wall  for the exaust ...maybe its just me but I was a little sketchy to leave the unit run by itself...its why I went with the electric heater...

I have mine set up to take fresh air from the outside as well. I know where you are coming from with the thing though, my external walls are brick, Id be cautious running the hot exhaust out thro a wooden wall. It does get bloody hot , hence why I was going to run it through a metal rad as well to pull a bit more of the heat out.
