  1. Nice to see they finally have some real brakes....about time....but that swingarm looks like a cheap copy of the Aprilia SuperMoto's arm. Still rather Fugly--
  2. Feeling quite blessed that my knees are still in pretty good order....especially after a T-bone wreck into a car some 35+ yrs. ago...had a bit of Water on the Knee for about a week, but NO issues since. I think being a Skier since I was 4y/o has paid off. Now, as far as vaccines are concerned....Spicy food & Whiskey has been my "Go To" to keep from getting jabbed every year, for most of my life....seem to always bounce back pretty quickly from any "Under the Weather" symptoms.
  3. Nice one Chris.....that forest road looks like a great place to get lost in.
  4. I'm OK with that....but hitchhikers would NOT be my target....it'd be the fruit-looped homeless scumbags that I'd have in my sights. Fortunately, we don't see too many of those over in this corner of the state....so, that's me dodging another bullet.
  5. & now for the Wheeled hardware.... An L-29 Cord...that's actually FWD Early 30's Packard Phaeton....so clean you could eat off of it... Man, I'd love to own this Truck!...
  6. Just got back from a Fly-In & car show in Joseph.... some pretty cool winged hardware....
  7. Pete would be proud of ya....
  8. That's what I was thinking....that you reside @ alot higher elevation than most....
  9. Going with a friend who's a Flight Instructor, to an AirShow in Joseph later today....might just get lucky enough to bag an airplane ride over Wallowa lake.
  10. Looks like something you'd see in southern hemisphere countries....where the whole Fam Damily is aboard that surfboard of a seat! Seen stuff like that in Mexico, & I've always felt sorry for the poor clutch on those bikes. They're nothing but a 2-wheel'd Truck in those places.
  11. Seems like the "DeeDub" (short for DW) status is becoming more prominent with some members....Dog Walker for some members....& then again, Dog Wanker for other certain individuals.
  12. 76F is bliss temps!....Been in the upper 90'sF to just over 100F here for the last week....HOT! Gonna be in that range till @ least the end of the month. Got a buddy from HS that now resides in Helena MT....he & his wife have been evacuated from their place due to wildfires in that area.
  13. Correction: He is Lysdexic.
  14. Amazon....the Mrs. has a prime account....saved $28 in shipping
  15. Guilty as charged.... @ least 12+ yrs. of rebuilding Bike motors, tuning Ski's & truck front-end repairs....it's like my Mum used to say when I'd beat up on my younger brothers...."You just don't know your own strength" Good news is that I think I found a worthy replacement...
  16. Mainly been camped out in front of the AC for the past 2 days...as we're trying not to melt w/ temps floating in the 100F range 10 day forcast says all in the 90's...
  17. Last time I checked, those were called sows....
  18. Seat belts on motorcycles makes about as much sense as Tits on a Boar! ...probably cause more fatalities than Bikes without.
  19. Pissing down sounds pretty good right now as it's been in the 90'sF here the past few days....supposed to hit 102F tomorrow. While repairing some garden tools today..... Chink P.O.S.!! Looks like it'll be down to La Grande tomorrow early to beat the heat....to see if I can locate a replacement.

Falling off is a Right of Passage.... maybe Bikists don't fall off, but REAL Bikers know all too well that feeling of hitting the deck-- whether it be on dirt or tarmac, it always serves as a great learning tool.
  21. Looks like a blast Eric!....Man, I love Montana....can't wait to go back.
  22. I was gonna say....sounds like Pete's speaking to us from beyond the grave
  23. Another possibility is that it's suckin' air somewhere.... @ 1 point I had reseal the intake boot between the carb & the cylinder head. A thin film of Permatex Ultra Black sealant cured the problem.
  24. Those shocks seem like a perfect fit for the situation....
