Sounds like she got a taste of what it's like to be a REAL biker....a bit of a reality check if you will. A cold backside is just the tip of the iceberg... Oh the fun to be had riding in the elements though....

Drove to Baker City last night to enjoy a meal w/ my brother who is temporarily stationed there by the Forest Circus for fire duty. I was doing the math in my head on the way there....it's been @ least 7-8 yrs. since I've seen him face to face. Now I'm kinda forming a plan to go visit him down in Waco, TX....maybe sometime next year.

It'll be interesting to see how much this beast weighs....

I'm right there with ya Bob.... had more fun on those types of bikes! Had a V4, & (4) IL4's, a Vtwin & a handful of singles both 2T & 4T....never had a triple, but I love the exhaust note they put out....

Feel pretty fortunate to have seen him race Live @ Washougal back before he broke his back....he's like a few other top riders, knows only 1 speed....FAST 4ward!!

Managed to get through 106F temps today After making another run to the dump to empty my truck in the morning, I'll be tending to assembling my wife's new Etrike that just showed up today....

Off to ID this morning....got a couple of appt's to tend to for the misses...won't be back till tomorrow. What a lovely, much-needed rainstorm we had last night!....but alas, back to scorching temps again tomorrow.

I tried to sell my XT6 for a good year & a half before I moved to Elgin 5 yrs. ago....listed it for $2500, which is a steal....NOT 1 bite...pretty sure that was because of it having a "kick only" start system. The whole left side of Oregon is full of limp-wristed pussies that can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag!! Fortunately now, my oldest grandson is the proud owner of that beast--

Seems like most of the smoke is coming outta the North right now....bunch of level 3 evac's SE of me yesterday....fires even jumped across I-84 down east of Baker City.
