Another possibility is that it's suckin' air somewhere.... @ 1 point I had reseal the intake boot between the carb & the cylinder head. A thin film of Permatex Ultra Black sealant cured the problem.

Those shocks seem like a perfect fit for the situation....

My brother had a '92 DR 650 back when I was still riding my XT 550 alot....& I remember how tall that beast was....he's 6'2" w/ legs up to his neck so the standover wasn't a problem....but the brick-hard seat sure was!

It's a known fact: It's waaay more Fun to ride a slow bike fast than it is to ride a fast bike slow.
