The sunrise this morning as we left the Grand Ronde valley....heading for ID for the missus' Dr.'s appointment.... the drive home sucked as it rained & snowed on the way back...

Prepping my boat for Winterization today....gotta put the deep cycle battery on the charger....& anchor the oars securely to the trailer deck.

Used to have a '75 Kawi F9 BigHorn 350....great bike....until the CDI went tits-up. Twas a great Beer Run bike.

Time to shim up my back deck & prep it for winter....then dis-assemble our glider/rocker & move it from the front deck to the back deck where it'll be outta the weather under the porch roof. We'll be able to use it a lot more....it'll be great for morning coffee's & Friday night Tequila shooting.

Just finished up a couple more drawings for my MetalFab mate....on this chilly morning....19F when I got up--

After all these months in such dry conditions.....it's Finally raining! After repairing a flat rear tire on the Mullet w/ a thorn-proof tube, I'm waiting on a new HD workstand designed for Ebikes....gotta have plenty of hands to remount the rear wheel back in the frame, so that stand should make life a bit easier...

I've seen brown bears before, but usually a bit farther north from here....

Speaking of.... bimble'd down Clark creek rd today....the fall colors were amazing! I pulled over looking for some colorful background...the creek is pretty slow due to the lack of rain....I heard a some motion down in the creek that was a bit loud for such a low water level....sure enough there pops out a 6x6 Bull Elk making his way up the other side out of the creek....Majestic sight!...but disappear'd before I could get the camera out...of course! Got about 6-7 miles in on the Mullet today....just gotta keep it up...

Well since my annual Dr. visit on Wednesday, my BP is of concern....so I'm now HellBent on Riding everyday....gotta get the lead outta my arse! Steaks on the barby tonight along w/ the usual Tequila session--

Plenty of yardwork awaits me....weather is looking decent... still in the 70'sF through next Wednesday, so I'm sure a Ride or 2 will ensue...

Man, could we use some that liquid sunshine....been pretty damn dry overall here....another day of 80F weather today. Heading down to La Grande for Mexican lunch w/ friends in a coupla hours....then buying 50 lbs. of quality burger on the way home from Billy Bob's butcher shop....now that I've got plenty of new found room in our defrosted freezer.

Been defrosting my freezer out in the garage....about 5 yrs. overdue...shoulda did it when I moved in. Good day for it though as it's almost 80 deg. Gotta get after the leaves while the ice is melting off in the freezer....oh joy--
