  6. No, not that either. I have been quite busy these last few days with family drama, but will have to go through my pictures to find a second choice. It’ll be a proforma entry though, we already have Rich’s dumpster picture and Buck’s “lost by a motorway in the UK” one

  10. Popped to Suffolk in my lunch hour and collected some Barkbuster handguards for my XT. Just finished putting them on. I have left the old inner handguard brackets on for now in case I want to switch back at any point.

  12. My oldest mate, with more money than you can shake a stick at, already has a Triumph Bobber and an absolute mint Honda VRF400 told me yesterday from the balcony of his Lake Como swanky pad that he’s tempted by the Aprilia Tuareg 660………..damn him, I could be tempted but it’ll have to wait a bit.

  13. It’s that time again, get those pictures submitted for bike of the month. 1. You can post multiple pictures but you must choose which one you want to enter with before the thread closes, if you don’t choose one then I will. 2. Picture must have been taken in July, outside, away from home. 3. Picture must be in landscape format (for @Marcel that means the big measurement is along the bottom of the picture and the smaller measurement is up the side). Good resolution is required as well so no screenshots. 4. The bike must be currently owned by you. Moderator decisions are final. This submissions thread will be open from now until 2pm on Sunday 30th, at which point the voting thread will open! Voting then takes place with the Poll closing 9pm on Monday 31st. Special rules for @Six30 This is your time, don’t waste it bitch!

  14. No, I thought that as the plastic parts are quickly removable I would get on better with fitting muffs on the super cold winter days which I struggled with over the Yamaha ones. I pulled up at the shop, it's on a rural industrial estate, and the one legged man was standing outside on his crutches. The same one who was sat behind a desk when I was buying my waterproof trousers a few years back and I told him leg length was very important to me. The bloke then stood up and I realised he was a single pegger, I felt like I'd put both my feet in it when I said that, which was more than he could I suppose!

  21. Going to watch our mechanic racing at Castle Combe tomorrow, I would go and watch my boss but he's racing at Donnington and that's a bit far for a day ride. Judging by the forecast I may be dodging showers in the morning. https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/race-days/july-motorcycle-grand-national-race-weekend

  28. So you have a phobia of them poking around looking for exposed nerves with that metal spike thing, cracking your teeth open like Josef Mengele doing perverse human experimentation? Don't worry, it’s just your imagination.

  29. Just gone for a local walk around the roads as down by the river will be muddy with all the rain we’ve had. We came across this old graveyard which happens to have a brand new nursing home built behind it

  32. More the potent reverberating childhood memory having milk teeth pulled with inadequate (I’d d say no) anaesthetic. The sounds of crunching and cracking set to a backdrop of excruciating pain whilst being held down in a dental chair. Yep that’ll do it. Think I might be busy later washing my hair

  37. No - but it depends upon the State you're in. Colorado, for instance, requires you to buy an OHV sticker - it's only $25 and the fee goes to maintaining public lands for riding. No inspections or anything like that.
