  1. It's an allergic reaction to something but can't pinpoint anything in particular which is frustrating. At least it was treated before turning into a full blown anaphylaxis. They were very on the ball. I think they've had some experience on the allergy front since we were last here!

  3. I’m sitting in A&E looking at my pasty son on a gurney after a dose of adrenaline and IV steroids. Looks like it’s done the trick. Thank goodness for A&E! His heart rate kept dropping and went down to 36bpm when he lost consciousness but all looking much better now so just observations til midnight and then home for a VERY large whisky!! Me that is not him

  5. 388km this afternoon riding to the centre point of France. I think this is a disputed honour and depends on how you find the centre so there must be at least two other "centre of France" markers that I can find this one is in Bruere Allichamps, about half way between Bourges and Montlucon. crossing the Loire lunch stop ( sandwich and thermos cos restaurants are 1) almost impossible to find open on a sunday these days and 2) no longer seem to exist outside the towns and cities. centre point

  7. I don't want connectivity in my lid......I get enough of technology in the rest of my life.

  8. Well I have been using the C3 for commuting and it is a joy of quiet, can quite happily sit at 70 with very little wind noise. Faster and obviously it gets a little more raucous. Anyway quiet is good but I have gotten used to listening to stuff on my phone through the Bluetooth on my Viper lid. The Viper is comfy but noisy. So to the point I wanted some Bluetooth connectivity for my Schuberth. You can buy a Senna coms kit but it is a bit spendy and I don’t really care about coms as such. So I thought about using a Bluetooth kit I bought last year to use with my RE lid, but it didn’t fit. To my surprise it fitted in the Schuberth perfectly. Is Bluetooth 5.0 so works seamlessly with my phone, also I can’t feel the speakers so all is good. Some testing to do but I am pretty chuffed with what are in effect Bluetooth speakers in my lid for £30. They will control the phone to make calls and stuff but I doubt I will use that. They came from Amazon if you want to experiment with the same chinky tat.

  10. Cheers all. Didn’t settle down enough for a safe discharge. Now on a men’s ward for another night with the usual loud and confused characters you find for yet another night awake in a sodding hospital chair! Got between zero and one bar of 4G that takes forever to load so will be out of things until I get home and some sleep. Goodnight.. maybe

  13. Yeh......installed last Tuesday. We haven't really used them for any extended periods, because they're powerful units and after 15 minutes the room is really chilled. Then the normal fans that we have circulate the air round for an hour or two.

  16. +1 I like singing to myself when I'm on the bike, it's also a great time for thinking. I don't want to have music and anyone jabbering in my ear while I'm riding.

  21. Kids are a bloody worry aren't they? I remember having to wait in one of the Bristol Hospitals in 2000 when the eldest boy from the first marriage (23 at the time) was admitted with a collapsed lung due to his lifestyle. I'm not sure which Hospital it was but I'm sure it was on the right hand side going up a hill.

  22. Some people actually go riding on their bikes. They're not flouncing just because it might rain, get hot, cloudy, no DBM's about, have a hernia etc etc ............

  24. Hello guys. I am new to riding and for my first bike i would like to buy used Kawasaki ninja 650. It is from year 2021, has 6300 kilometers (3900 miles), and it is not damaged in any way. It also has new tires. I'm wondering how much is this motorcycle worth, because I don't want to get "scammed". They are selling it for 6500 euros.

  25. Had a good run on the dog today, dressed for the rain but i left after it stopped so sweated my nuts off all day and minutes after i got home it hammered down again so missed it all Only a few photos as it was too awkward getting the camera out with all my gear on, good start to the day the first lane had a small tree down i had to remove, it was easier doing that then turning the bike around Cleared and the start of my temperature rising Not many like this today Doesn't seam like anyone is riding these lanes at the moment their well overgrown This was horrible to ride deep 4x4 tracks either side of a slippery center rut, most of the track was covered in vegetation so you couldn't see what was underneath Further on i had to get out of the 4x4 rut, as i struggled to pull the lump out i thought @XTreme is going to love it if i give myself a hernia here lol Stopped to cool off before heading home

  27. Hello and welcome. I have no idea about the prices of motorcycles in Slovenia but you live in a beautiful country .

  28. Hi Blaze! Prices will vary a bit from country to country but that sounds a fairly decent price. Is that from a dealer? Cos I'd advise you to make sure you get a guarantee in case of any issues.

  29. Some local in Bourges told me it was the centre of France when we stopped there last week, I countered with the fact that Nempnett Thrubwell (10 miles from me ) is the centre of the universe. He looked very confused ..............

  32. The tech will need to be much more advanced and the prices a lot cheaper before I'd do that. But my experience in the Tesla when I was in NL was very impressive.
