Dragged to Carrefour and the shopping mall in Murcia! So I made the best of it by visiting a couple of bike shops on the same block! Here's Carrefour........notice the bike specific parking areas! They even had some weird Scooter things.... The wife wanted clothes.....but didn't like anything there! But I got a couple of T shirts and 3 pairs of long, thin white socks.......to stop my ankles getting burnt on the bike in the Summer. But no tracksuit bottoms there! WTF? By now, the wife was really pissed off she couldn't get anything.......so I thought I'd cheer her up by taking her into Belmoto BMW. One of the showrooms was full of Chinese type shit I'd never heard of! Then into the BMW showroom! I couldn't believe the size of the big Beemers......they're enormous. The wife likes (or rather tolerates) BMW's cos her favourite bike was Big Bird......the R1150GS. She was very impressed with the 1250GS......then she looked at me and said "You're too old for something like this". After that it was into EuroBikes accessories......very disappointed with their range. They had a nice Summer jacket there for €69 but they had nothing bigger than Large......and I couldn't get my shoulders in that. However they did have Silkolene Chain & Brake Cleaner......so I grabbed a can! Across the road is AutoFerro Honda......but didn't bother to go in. It was just too bloody hot by then. Left at 9am, back at 2.30pm, and 300kms done! The wife ended up with nothing (and it was her shopping trip)......but I got 2 T shirts, 3 socks, and some chain cleaner. So not a complete wipeout. You don't get shit like this on Buttrider! Tell 'em @Tym!

I went out for an early ride today, before it got too hot. We are having a strange weather pattern right now where I live, something called a "HEAT DOME" is causing record breaking heat for these parts. I thought a morning ride would be best. . The roads were dry and dusty but the forest was still filled with cool morning air. . A very nice ride! Might just spend tomorrow in the backyard camp, where it is cool and quiet! Have a fun weekend everyone! .....and for @Tym, just have a nice couple of days, it doesn't matter what we call them

I've had 2 spells. First go was around 12 years. Mandi then tool over the roll and went full-time while I brought the kids up. Think I've been back about 7 years. The change in job was huge when I went back. So much electronics to catch up on and it's going to get much worse for people like me.

Do you have any allergies? And other questions. Get onto the platform that goes into the MRI.......and she says "we will put on these headphones, play you some music", so I say "I won't be able to hear it...deaf!" So the woman's says "would you like some ear plugs to wear...the machine is very loud?" What part of deaf did she not understand?

As far as i'm aware Dawn and Steve haven't had a bike in years now. i know he has been suffering with tinnitus for a long time and couldn't put up with the wind noise on the bike don't know why Dawn packed it in though

I'm OK on boots.....it was a Summer jacket that I wanted, and possibly jeans. But the jeans were all narrow legged things and ridiculously long. Same in Carrefour as well.
