  9. My take on the philly cheese steak, there's a layer of caramelized onions on the bottom, then sliced steak and cheese on top, with a healthy dose of mustard, served in a rustic bread. It was great.

  11. Tonight we head over to a pub in the adjacent town of Idaho Springs, Colorado for dinner. Pretty normal fare for here; wife had a salad with some kind of Buffalo chicken on it and i opted for a wood fired pizza (pepperoni) and a few Stella's. Lots of leftover pizza for tomorrow's lunch....

  16. Best thing ever to eat on bread, my brother brings it when he returns from Croatia, it's a paste made only of roasted peppers. Just a little spicy.

  22. Canned sardines, african style. Usually made with sardined preserved in hot tomato sauce. Served best on toast with olive oil, and goat's cheese. I love making this.

  36. Insurance is a lot more expensive here than in the UK. I have FC on the Beemer and it's €330.....but it does include everything. Full European Cover, Breakdown and Recovery, Legal Protection, Personal Injury etc.

  38. By the riverside, a "Sopa da Pedra", which is a very hearty countryside heavy soup with all sorts of pork stuff in it, and beans. Perfect for a cold day.

  43. Kickstarting a Harley must be great American stuff, @Tym, I´d love to try. Don't think I'd enjoy riding one of those older twins after having gotten used to modern BMWs though, but I'd surely give them a go for sure.
