Decided to take the 650Ā out tonight for a stomp around the valleys, ended up on a disused railway line probably for taking the stone from the quarries it passes through.

Cool stuff, how many miles did you do offroad?

Very little tonight Pedro i had intended not to go off the beaten track at all. IĀ rode about 60 miles,Ā probably only 10 miles of that was unpavedĀ

That's cool, I only asked because offroad pictures from Wales always seem so remote.

Nice one Fred, the Dog is looking as cool as everĀ  :littleguy:

There was a XR650L on ebay last week, it was fairly low mileage , had lots of spares but was using a bit of oil and smoking on start up.Ā  I'm gutted as it went for Ā£1900 , trouble was it was up near Glasgow, that's why I didn't bid ā˜¹ļø

Bob there was one about 5 miles from me a few months ago with about 4000 miles on it and immaculate, the guy wanted £3500 for it i was so tempted but resisted, i need to ride one to see if its really that much different to the dog. One of the things that does put me off is the huge seat height on them

Yes that's what i like about living here the hills hide allot and can give you a feeling of remoteness even though its not. Your never far from a road and all the dumped rubbish reminds you of thatĀ Ā
