Yeah I could see that would be right up the Umpa Lumpa's street. Having Banda written on it would save buying rainbow flags as well.2 points

I have a hankering over buying a first gen of the new Sportster and converting it into a super moto. A bike that Harley should make but won't.2 points

They look hideous compared to a proper Sportster. Can't even imagine how they can become a super moto, though.1 point

He had a CG125 before it was stolen. We did get it back and sold the cbf which he preferred but Dads rule. Bet the CG's still going somewhere.1 point

When my boy had one we experienced one of the common faults which was crack in the clutch basket cog. Dealer told me the engines were made in India.1 point

Problem is that particular bike was assembled in Italy and while is says it was made in Italy, I'm pretty sure that parts are not. I think that bike is assembled all over the world but I wouldn't mind betting that the majority of the parts are from chinese manufacturers. I had quite a chat with the chap who fixed it and he said that even though these bikes are pretty reliable the quality isn't what it used to be. He also thought the service intervals are to big for a small air cooled motor. 4K miles between services which I am going to cut in half from now on. One point he did make was that at least you can still get parts for Japanese brands whereas it's often not possible to get them for chinese brands, so the ongoing support is there for japanese stuff and that is better than most chinese stuff. Also to bear in mind it Shadow has thrashed to tits of this thing for 15k miles whereas many chinky 125s don't actually make it that far. So you are right is the short answer.1 point
