  1. My day yesterday started at 1am with my daughter on the phone panicking as her car had broken down, when i got there she was on a steep hill with her foot on the brake stopping it from rolling into the parked car behind her she said it was rolling back with he handbrake on, it was just raising the suspension when she released the brake so it wasn't rolling back she was stressing over nothing. I got in and the gear lever is doing nothing but it was stuck in gear and i was able to pull it away from the parked car with a bit of burning clutch and park it out the way, it was gone 2am after i sorted that out, i couldn't get back to sleep until an hour before i was due to get up to go out on the bike. Met Gary the sun was shining and it was a comfortable temperature. We had a good day riding some tough lanes until around 3pm when the heavens opened at the furthest point from home i got soaked in minutes got home around 19:30 aching like hell and the knee supports i wore for the fist time rubbed the backs of my knees raw so they wont be used again, it did dry up on the way home where i took the only photo of the day. After a shower and some grub I went out and brought the daughters car home. Had a look at the daughters car this morning and one of the gear selector cables is broken so its a job for the garage, i am now going to spend the rest of the day recovering from yesterday

  2. Things are hotting up, got the pencil coils out, they were quite easy if you lift them right, so now the plugs are exposed, got my new thinwall plug socket out and no, its a 3/8" and I have a 1/4 and a 1/2, not to worry, a friend is coming tomorrow morning with a 3/8 socket set, so to fill in the time I painted the radiator after reverse flushing it.

  4. Good morning to everyone!!!!! Every year a large group of motorcyclists welcomes the Holy Light from Kavala airport at Greece and accompanies it to the central church of Chrysoupolis city Kavala. This year, 2024, the airport management did not allow entry of motorcycles to avoid any negative events, the block in the node can also be seen in the video, although unpleasant events have never been in the past. This year, the established Holy Ride had a symbolic character. Here's the video: (wear earplugs)!

  20. I forgot to say i had to perform a mercy killing when out yesterday and i feel the need to tell you all to get it off my chest. I was riding along and saw a what i thought was a lump of mud on the road but as i got on top of it it turned out to be a baby rabbit. The front wheel passed it but the stupid thing went to run instead of staying still and went under the back wheel i didn't feel a thing but i suspect it was different for the poor rabbit, i went back to check on it and it was still alive but obviously not going to survive so i couldn't just leave it and had to finish it off, quite sad really if someone prepared and cooked it for me i would quite happily eat it but found myself shutting my eyes and wincing as i ran over it a few more times to finish it off.

  27. No experience with Hyundai I’m afraid. My Karcher was not pressuring a while back, the motor was running but whereas if you don’t pull the trigger it should turn off once it gets up to pressure the motor just kept running. There was a defect in the cylinder head which let water leak out of the high pressure side. The new cylinder head was about £40. Pretty easy to change too. the original CH was shit plastic, the new one is aluminium.

  39. I don't know how he does it but the feckless twat certainly gets some nice loan bikes nowadays. He is right though there is something about the new Nortons. Too expensive and less than perfect in places but there is something about them. Had a real close look at one yesterday. I like it a lot.

  41. Pads are in and calipers loosely mounted, they look so good the lowers look like need a coat of paint as well. Front wheel out and masking time. Radiator to do next, nearly there.

  42. First cook your calipers then hang them on the line and spray them with VHT cast aluminium paint, they're out there in the sun baking away so I will soon be fitting the pads and bolting them back in place. Need to get some 14x10x1 crush washers to attach the brake lines, robbing basterds at KTM want about $5 each plus postage, need six if I am to do the rear brake as well, found them online at six for $7.90 inc postage, thats saved me a decent bottle of red and a steak, it pays to shop around.
