What job would you not do, even if you were offered huge sums of money to do it? For me it would have to be working at sea, especially something like a deep sea fisherman. Whenever I see a shipwreck, even photos or videos of wrecks, the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end! Videos of guys working on deep sea fishing boats in stormy seas make my skin crawl! What about you guys?4 points

Eh? Nope ‘Lump’ due to him being the most curmudgeonly, intractable person you could ever meet making it impossible to move the ‘Lump’ to do anything at all he doesn’t want to. Argumentative, grumpy, refuses to smile, loves dishing out an insult and can take back the other way too. You got to admire that4 points

Spose it depends on your expectations, I assume French cider will be undrinkable so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to get the stuff down. There are three different but identical looking Cidre Normandie’s so maybe you didn’t have the dry one? So far Somersets cider crown is more than safe3 points

Well i got one. When i fitted my new boiler a few years ago i only had the old copper pipe for the pressure relief valve going through the wall so i used it for the condense drain from the new boiler with all intensions to change it at a later date. When i came home from work last night i spotted a stain on the ceiling below the cupboard the boiler is in. When i went upstairs to have a look the floor in the boiler cupboard was soaking the pipe had frozen and the condense was now dripping all over it, so i spent last night putting trace heating on the pipe as once it leaves the house it runs about 3m across my kitchen extension roof to the gutter. Got home tonight all the ice has gone but water is still dripping in the bucket below the boiler i found there was a split in the pipe but couldn't understand how it froze inside the house and split. I cut it out and replaced the split bit of pipe and after reconnecting discovered its still leaking, on closer inspection the pipe hadn't split due to being frozen the condense is acidic and had eaten the pipe away along its length so i taped it up with some self amalgamating tape until i can drill the wall of the house to put the right pipe in this is the bit i cut out2 points

Bruce. I had a text conversation with Bruce earlier on. He seems in good spirits all things considered and is living on his boat full time.2 points

I hope you not like a mate of mine, he bent a valve on his Guzzi and carried it around in his pocket, when we went to bike rally's or party's he couldn't wait to get it out and bore someone to death about it2 points

So this is it Fred. Years ago we were on our way to the Dragon Rally when I had a whoopsee ........... After I had picked myself up and Fred realised I was missing he returned and helped get the bike out of the fence. I sat down feeling sorry for myself while Fred assessed the damage, the only problem was the gear lever which was pointing at a funny angle, Fred sorted it out for me while I hobbled around and we continued on. The gearchange still didn't quite feel right and when I got home after the weekend I saw that the gear lever shaft was bent on the tip. I managed to find a replacement part on eBay and fitted it later on but it was a bit of a twat as you had to take the clutch out and then pull the shaft out from the other side of the case but it didn't want to come out easily because of the bent tip. Anyway, I did it eventually and all was good again.1 point

A realistic one for me is doing electrical work on peoples houses no fucking way, i done some domestic electrical work when i was 16 and what i learnt was i never want to work on houses ever again especially with people in them, i might tolerate a new build but that's it. My boss had me price a rewire on a house about 15 years ago and when i gave him the quote i said to him if you get the job i wont be working there, he said you'll have to if we have no other work, i told him no i only have to if i'm working for you put me on that job and i'll be gone and we've never priced a domestic job since.1 point
