Retirement party for a long-time friend at work (30 yrs!) and then remembered i had a track day for Monday Stunk up the first session, second time at track and wasnt remembering any corners. This track is near Bakersfield and is flat! Hard to pick up details at first. My buddy works for a Suzuki dealer (hence the truck) and was gifted with a day of coaching from Bobby Fong, who races MotoAmerica. He was a little tired when the day was over

If there's any sort of improvement in lorry drivers conditions off the back of this Id be happy for it. Expecting someone to sleep in a cab in lay-by or on an industrial estate with no facilities, not even basic necessities like drinking water or a toilet isn't exactly an enticing job is it. Seems an inhumane way to treat folk. Particularly odd when they are so essential to the way we live. If it was an estate agent or a banker thirsty and busting for shit I might not have the same opinion though

Today it's 8.64 million people fully vaccinated, total population living in Portugal is 10.35 million, so including every portuguese citizen living here, I don't know if it does include foreigners, but I do know most foreigners living here have been vaccinated according to their age group without problems. 95000 people are late to show up for their second vaccine and are holding back reaching the 85%, twats!

Anything that ruins the lines of the bike is a no no so a tail pack will always trump a top box but an unencumbered bike wins hands down. That includes removing your dumbass helmet and gloves from it for the pic

Jeez. One of the things hindsight always surprises me with is the conditions we can accept that later on look barbaric.

When I first started on Rigids I didn't even have a sleeper cab, I either slept across the seats (minding the gear lever ) or I slept in the back on top of the load (if it was suitable)
