Well I have done the grand total of.....fuck all as last nights sleep was cut very short due to skye being up at 3am for a feed then no sooner had she gone back to sleep then the neighbours started having a row with her screaming through the wall to us to call the rozzers which we duly did then spent the next couple of hours sorting everything out, turns out he tried strangling her then when she managed to get him off her and scream for help he decided he was gna twat her in the moosh possibly breaking her jaw then like a coward he scarpered only to return at some point this morning. He let their dog out in the street aswell so I went looking for it just as the rozzers turned up and thought I was him as he is also called Richard so they almost arrested me just for having the same name as the neighbour until I got my licence out to prove I wasn't the one they were after, the fucking suspicious twats!! So yeah although I haven't done much its been a long old day

Just to remind you that if you want to say something directly to somebody, and you haven't quoted their post, then use the Tag function. All you need to do is press the @ key then type the first couple of letter of their username. A select box will appear and you just select the member you want. Once you've done that they'll get a notification telling them. If you've quoted their post then there's no need to use the Tag........because in that instance they'll get a notification anyway. This Tag functionality didn't exist years ago, back then you had to send somebody a PM to give them the link to the original post. So this aspect makes things a lot easier and quicker......and at least there's one thing where Social Media has helped improve the forum experience.

Yeh.....and drink makes nothing better! Only worse! And ultimately all you guys are only swilling down booze in the unrealistic hope of having the personality and charisma that I have. Well it ain't gonna happen. It's genetic! Not passed onto any of my 5 sons unfortunately! But my eldest grandson in Poland does show signs of signs of having an excessive personality with a need to be the centre of attention! So there's hope for the future. Thats just the thing they aren't bad neighbours well weren't anyway, we get along with Lisa really well and used to with rich her bloke but he decided to acuse me and lisa of having an affair.....and he's become very toxic, though he won't win the war nor any preceeding battles as I don't rise to his shite and tell him as much when I see him. I know from an outside opinion that she should tell him to do one and both me and the wife have said to her so but she says she loves him, its very difficult in these abuse cases to get the abused to see the light at the end of the tunnel if they let go of the abuser all we can do is be support for her and do what is needed when the time comes

It was a nice building, but the food was kinda crap. Check out all of the tap handles at the bar - this is only 1/2 of them as the other side of the bar has just as many. 100+ beers on tap. So I wasn't really there for the food anyway?

Well I'm very happy with the Puck! I forgot it was on and when I put the bike on the sidestand I thought there must be a stone underneath, because it didn't drop as low it was. So it took a bit of getting used to.....and the rubber really grips the road so there's no sidestand slip whatsoever. Plus it don't look wonky now.

Only had two beers at dinner last night. Trying to cut down, ya know....

My mum is from Newcastle and we moved up this way so we could afford to live and not just pay everything we earn on housing and whatnot and the house we currently live in just happened to have everything we needed at a reasonable price and the rest is history

Also, you can now stop fretting about the underside of the sidestand foot getting scratched. It's a new world.

Never had them, it's not very typical in Portugal.

Finally found a map of the actual perimeters of the town area......seems like I'd gone over the boundaries on a few occasions without knowing. Basically I can head north past the lakes for about 25 miles till I'm nearly in the province of Jaen......yet I can't go 5 miles south to Galera!

I'll have to wait until covid is under control and they open the borders again but I'm thinking of riding one of my favorite trip route's. Take off East from Vancouver through BC into Alberta then head South down into Montana and follow the Rocky mountains through Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, and then cross over California to the pacific ocean and ride up the west coast through California, Oregon and Washington back to Vancouver.
