I am a firm believer in that you can ride big distances on any bike as long as it can cruise at about 65 mph. Along with some mates we did a tour from the UK right across to the old east Germany, down through the Czech Republic, northern Italy and back home through France. 3000 miles in eight days. All on XR650’s and not a problem. Adjust your mindset and all is well. ?5 points

Ladies and Gentlemen......may I present the newest member of our Internet Bad Boy Club....... @Swagman Because it appears he's now got himself canned by another forum! And without even an Incomprehensible Warning PM first! He don't fuck about does he? It just goes to show that even if you're a dribbling, incontinent, braindead twat in an Old Folks Home.....it doesn't mean that you're past kicking shit off on the Net. So I hope you'll join me in congratulating him on his promotion to this elite level. The downside is that we're now stuck with the old fucker forever! Cos nobody else will have him.4 points

Reminds me of a time in Borneo, when we held off a village of man eaters, me, my faithfull man servant Pashtoon, and a mule named Buck mined Bat chit for homemade gunpowder, forming a cannon out of a hollowed log, we directed a massive blast wiping out 47 centuries of indiginous life forms. I had a camera, i dropped it in lake Bulltalky, so sorry.3 points

Weight is ok until you have to push them around in the yard or garage, I’ve never had a problem with weight when riding on standard roads.3 points

Lame threads? I distintly remember somebody ( who's name should be silenced forever and buried in the concrete of an underpass along with it's owner) faking an accident, with phtos and the lot3 points

Oh Yes, we have now come to identify this condition as "Petetus dermatitis"....starts with an itch and then before you can help yourself you are saying personal thoughts out loud. The rash will spread and you will no longer be in your right mind. No cure known to date....well there is one, but it involves hairy butts and a boat. Best to just not itch!2 points

So many calls have been made, YES they WILL deliver. They will even add on the discount that was coming to this weekends big sale, which pays for delivery and some. Funny story, I said to the nice fella, please make sure the bikes have a good going over before delivery, as my last experience was horrible. (My bike came with many broken items, dash, front tire, etc... all after being "checked") Then he realized that he knew who I was. He had been working at the dealership that sold us the Himalayans. Him and another employee left and now work for Honda. So they knew all about my troubles and we all had a giggle. Then he said, that won't happen here! What bike is it, well we wait on that a bit longer for that, anticipation is fun. Now I need some new pants, something more suited to street riding....oh and a new helmet.....2 points

Nope, I have been on enough bikes to know what I like. I have done hours and hours of research and the bike I am getting will be like putting on a familiar sweater. I also like to live a little wild......lol2 points

we're on the 4th generation of those, they even have them in a small trailor, capable of controlling simultaneously 4 lanes of traffic both directions.... funny thing is though... they keep getting burnt, or shot, or painted out... but you're right, big power is pretty pointless these days, unless you live near a german autobahn2 points

Some do hog belly futures, i do redneck pm reports. For research purposes i invested exackly $300 in 22 long rifle ammo in 2019. Today that pile is now worth over $3000 at gun show prices.2 points

Here's a older one of my Blue Blackbird in Oregon. The building is the old world war 2 blimp hanger. the next one is the Columbia river where it meets the Pacific ocean. Grand Canyon shot Old gas station in Utah Bonneville Salt flats in Utah I loved that Blackbird, It was simply bullet proof. Sold it to a friend with 160000 kilometers on the clocks. Over 100000 kilometers on it alone came from touring across Canada and the States a bunch of times.1 point
