However, on Sunday I will finally be tracking down that abandoned village in the Sierra de Segura that I've mentioned before. I can't use the Strom, plus the wife wants to see this place.....so it'll be a Drive Report...... ......in a French car! You don't get shit like this on ButtRider! Tell 'em @Tym

Tomorrow I shall be taking a little ride around, going to do a 150 or so km loop around some twisties and mountain roads, nice and shortish back by mid afternoon kind of thing. Come on, guys, let's not let it be a duel between my bike and @XTreme's try of a Strom next to some lettuce field! @yen_powell has a shiny new bike, @Earache has a few great pictures from his last ride with the scenery to back it up, I know for a fact @Sofia is holding back on a couple of great pictures of the Triumph, @Grasshopper's Ride surely has plenty of the Himalayan to fight and try to be the first bike to get a second BOTM win and also a consecutive one, @Sir Fallsalot has dirty bike gold, @Specs probably has one of the GS, and @Mawsley has a chance of having the first scooter, @boboneleg surely went out with the T7 or the CRF as well. A plethora of different bikes from all over the world, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone

I think the point was that you shouldn't need strength... if you do it poperly, which I clearly didn't. odd thing is that i put me weight on the centre stand foot, my right hand on the rear grab rail of the bike and the left hand on the handlebar to steady it so when lifting, any pull or force would have been through the right hand to ppull the bike up and back, but somehow my LEFT shoulder went POP about halfway through the manouver.

Two bikes, Aprillia Tuono 1000 and Firestorm 1000 that I used a little. The Tuono is really only happy in the hands of someone that wants to ride fast all the time and loves bigger roads, not some teenie-tinny roads where it cannot stretch its legs. Bit brutal and difficult in town. Did a nice trip from Germany to Portugal with it, always with Snoopy for company! The Firestorm is a very friendly bike, the labrador of bikes! Its easy, very Honda, almost rides itself! Did many trips to the UK from Germany on this bike, enjoyed it although sport bikes are not my thing!

So true! Although ive never tried a KTM! Would love to test a 1090.
