I think the time is coming to fit a permanent dash cam to the bike, earlier today I also had a Tesla driver almost reverse into me, I was very restrained and told him to be more observant in future to which he agreed to, he had his family in the car, hence my calm demeanour, by the look on his face it was far more threatening than giving him both barrels. His wife looked doe eyed at me and then told him off, that’s the Harley effect.

pussy... you should of bitch slapped him , fingered his mrs and poked the kids in their eyes

I have a dash cam on one of mine.  To many retards unable to follow the lanes around a roundabout or look before changing lanes.

I wouldn't say it's brilliant, software isn't as stable as the one I have in my car but the picture is reasonably good forward, resolution on the rear is lower for some reason.

Ever wonder how this giant truck is on Gaz  ?  Actually surprisingly not that bad...crusing at 65 mph...just under 1500 rpm...

11 gallons per 100km.... not very economical at all.

And to think we're all trying to save the planet and you're the one killing it.

Shame on you

I don't care who you are...35 c with humidex feeling like 45 c is just to hot to ride...plus I'm certainly not built for Sahara weather...lol.

Sahara weather is quite dry, though, although at 45 or 46 is it on the hot side.

Its been around 32 here today and wont lie in am melting, I think it was around 33 or 34 yesterday in direct sun and it was way too bloody hot, for the humans and vehicles, it made the strip extremely grippy though

Yesterday washing my bike felt like a porn scene. I tried a foam gun for the first time.

It didn't impress me much, I think I should have used quite a lot more pressure to wash it off as I think there were residues on some of the plastics afterwards, but high pressure at close distances scares me. So I washed it a second time later, which meant I could enjoy one of life's pleasures which is to ride a bike in shorts and tshirt in warm weather at sunset or night. It's not clever but it's nice.

I have hardly ridden it this month as well, quite a lot of heat and forest fires are putting me off, and tomorrow will go on a car trip with little brother so that'll be it for a week or two at least.

There are plans for the GS though, a set of Mitas is ordered and will be fitted in September, by the time the shocks are going in for maintenance to get them ready for a little ride to the dust in October.

For those temperatures and abuse, have you considered using something other than antifreeze for cooling? Water wetter or something similar. It's nice and doesn't slide as much when spilled either, just make sure to go back to antifreeze for your winter.

I've not thought about the cooling side of things at all tbf, probably should renew the coolant in the bike, I'll be going out on the bike for a ride on Wednesday to see how the clutch is now after its properly cooled down as it didnt cool down at all between 6.45am and around around 8pm, it didnt drop in engine temps at all for the whole day even during lunch break and when we stopped at the pub so I think the poor thing was just getting way too hot, especially the clutch

In racecars in hot weather, the water wetter stuff works well. It just doesn’t help with freezing.

It will reduce the performance of the bikes engine too, at least a little bit. Never been to Santa Pod but id like to go watch. Can any one race or do you need a racing licence?

What sort of times did you manage?
