I do love sardines or sea bream cooked on a grill.

It’s good stuff when done right with just salt. A nice salad, corn bread, chilled crisp wine, I’m missing it.

I've caught Conger in the past but never eaten it .  I like the look of those Riscado , we call them Red Snapper.

Conger is very meaty, usually used for fish stews.

Over dinner with a fish expert friend, buy conger’s head and just the three or four first slices as after that it’ll be too bony. The first 3 or 4 is where the money’s at.

Prefer to avoid that kind of fish altogether, the rice I made today with the grouper was 5 stars!!! Just now finishing some wine that we kept opening to wash it down with.

Took the Dacia back to the garage for the repairs to the MOT failure,s, it will (in my opinion) be a expensive day or 2.

£600÷....... more if they have to order more parts for the rear brakes, as he said "We won't know until we get inside the rear drums".

I think this will be the Dacia,s last MOT,  rear suspension component, and rear axle are in his words, very rusted, exhaust on its last legs too, it has served me well, passed the last 9 MOT,s without much bother, it is getting to that age where more components are reaching end of life and need replacing...........the clutch is still slipping (a little) too. 😂

I caught one of those buggers on rod and line at Scarborough, it was as black as coal, as I pulled it up the sea wall one pincher was hanging onto the hook and bait, the other was snapping at anything near, thought bugger that, cut the line, it was welcome to the hook and bait. 😂

Two things I refuse to eat, lobster and swordfish.

I love the taste of both but I also love diving and each looks better in the sea to me.
