Would you make it?

Neither of mine would make it - 90 miles for the FTR (has a gas tank smaller than my coffee mug), and about 140 for the Yamaha. Neither of my petrol powered cars would make it either ... but my electric one would 😁

That's sad ... If there ever was someone in need of a big tank GS it is you!

Think of the zombies, or covid!

I can get 220 from the tank of my Tracer so quite confident I'd do it on a tank at 80mph.

You're petrol powered cars cant do 180 miles on a tank of fuel? Either they are very uneconomical or have thimbles for tanks

My 2l mx5 gets over 300 miles to a tank and thats not exactly economical with its motion potion

Extremely extremely uneconomical. Gretta would have a heart attack ...

Exactly what do you have?

One has a 1973 somewhat tuned 5.7 Chevy V8 in it (AC Cobra copy), and the other was made in 1913 before the concept of mpg was even thought of, 3.1 litre engine originally making 20hp, several of which have died in the last 112 years.

I understand having and electric car makes sence in some situations...like if you're doing commuting to work...but that technology don't work at all -20c ...not to mention the stress of doing a 600 km round trip in one day...

Have you ever been to Norway? The place is full of EV's.

I think I've had to charge mine at a public charger maybe 5 times. In the time it takes me to have a piss and a drink it's ready to go agin but I agree , not everyone is going to want one.

The tiger could do 280 km on a full tank, but only if ridden intelligently to maximise range. Not at 8omph though. The autoroute speed limit here is 130kph, so 128mph and riding that speed I usually reckon on 250km range. less if loaded.

Is it a 289 or a 427? Id love a real one, or failing that a Superformance one, but I cant afford either 😆.

Mine is a humble AK, but it's bloody good fun.

Id doubt a 427 cobra would do that kind of mileage on a tank
