It does mate, its stupid, theres no need for there to be a 56mph limit, but then you get idiotic car drivers who drive along at 54/55 mph so you cant easily get past them and then they increase speed by half a mph when you try to over take them and are all in a panic because theres a big truck next to them and they dont like it but they cant get it in to their thick heads that if they just stuck to 60mph which lets face it if you cant comfortably drive along at 60mph you shouldn't be on the road as they are the danger and not the truck. The feeling to slow speeds down is everywhere. Now is the time to set all the European wrongs in England, though, instead of blaming Europe. But it was an eu law that the uk adopted for some stupid reason

Nute Posted Thursday at 20:49 Share Posted Thursday at 20:49 Neither of mine would make it - 90 miles for the FTR (has a gas tank smaller than my coffee mug), and about 140 for the Yamaha. Neither of my petrol powered cars would make it either ... but my electric one would

Either they are very uneconomical or have thimbles for tanks My 2l mx5 gets over 300 miles to a tank and thats not exactly economical with its motion potion

I understand having and electric car makes sence in some situations...like if you're doing commuting to work...but that technology don't work at all -20c ...not to mention the stress of doing a 600 km round trip in one day... One has a 1973 somewhat tuned 5.7 Chevy V8 in it (AC Cobra copy), and the other was made in 1913 before the concept of mpg was even thought of, 3.1 litre engine originally making 20hp, several of which have died in the last 112 years. Have you ever been to Norway? The place is full of EV's. I think I've had to charge mine at a public charger maybe 5 times. In the time it takes me to have a piss and a drink it's ready to go agin but I agree , not everyone is going to want one.
MooN
The tiger could do 180km on a full tank, but only if ridden intelligently to maximise range. Not at 8omph though. The autoroute speed limiyt here is 130kph, so 128mph and riding that speed I usually rekon on 250km range. less of loaded.
