  3. If you decide to hide it in the bike, remember to put the reservoir away from a heat source and in a place that doesn't heat up. If you do, the oil will become thinner and flow very fast, turning the rear of your bike and your pants into an oily mess. Ask me how I know this

  4. I’m sure the trailer will be fine. It’s not like you’re going to carry tons of weight for tons of miles doing tons of speed over tons of potholes.

  7. It’s the weekend. What are you all up to? Tomorrow I’ll be visiting my mechanic in the afternoon as he’s got the GS there to fit the new shocks, check valve clearances, fit mix use tires, check the transmission, etc. Hope to ride the bike home, unless he lacks a specific measurement for the valve adjustment, floating on some Swedish gold It’s warm, so bored people will be visiting the shop to drink coffee and talk, I shall do my best to fence them off and keep the dude focused!

  15. I had a Scottoiler on my Triumph Sprint, never ever had an issue with it and the chain lasted really well with it. I don't see the point in trying to save a few quid buying an unknown.

  16. Curious to see how messy it will be...I guess when you get the flow dialed in it shouldn't be and issue....don't what to think about these automatic Oilers, ran chain driven bikes for many years and really didn't spend much time lubricating a good quality chain...a shot of chain lube every 300km or so and the odd cleaning when it got to much gunk on it...and always had 30 ish thousand km before having to replace it with a fresh set....if you personally has me ...Im sold on a belt drive system...anything under 100hp and is riden on tar mac.. (.street bikes )..
