So my day today consisted of go in to work pick up a trailer and go to Catterick army camp to pick up a mastiff. 30.8ton vehicle weight and wide so I had an escort.... oohh er Took it to Wetherby for a trailer swap with its southbound driver. overall train weight was just over 53t First foray in to stgo cat 2

I really feel for all of you in England at the moment with al that cold wet freezing weather, here in Spain we have had some gorgeous weather lately I personally feel that temperatures in the low 20s are the perfect riding conditions LOL. So last Tuesday evening I got a message asking if I fancied a little ride the next day. I said yes of course. The following morning I set off for Castalla met up with a few friends and off we went around the mountains of Alicante and into the Valencia region. We stopped off for a coffee on the way and eventually we found ourselves not too far from where I live and we rode through the devastated landscape of what is left after the massive wild fire from last year. The fire that got so close to my village we were put on standby to evacuate the neighbouring village and already been emptied. I was amazed at how much land had gone up in flames we rode for miles and it was burnt trees all t he way. We eventually stopped for a lunch just outside Pego and headed for the coast and some sunny twisties.

Rain storms blowing over so won´t feel inclined to get on the bike. Will probably just go for a rainy stroll with Costa in the morning, then watch it rain outside and a quiet time by myself watching tv. Might have a drink on saturday.

Was talking to someone who lived a couple of doors down but now lives a couple of miles away to a smaller house. We knew everyone and talked to all on our road. She was saying people have changed but I think it's a lot to do with our kids, who all played together have now moved on/out. I also agree with six, they're all self serving cunts and have no interest in anything other than their own personal gain. Sack the lot and get a few business men/women in.

Thinking about it Its hard to say really there's so many little things that's changed over the years you don't notice them as it's just part of life, obviously there have been some big changes as there have been for people all over the world. Where i live was considered to be a real rough area, back in the 70's and 80's it was on par with the likes of the Gurnos or Lansbury park but we never seen any real trouble here like that and it certainly doesn't have that reputation any more. The south wales valleys and surrounding areas have had a hell of a lot of redevelopment making it a more pleasant place to live although traffic around here is crazy at rush hour times that is something i have noticed get worse over the years, if you drove up through the valleys now you would find it hard to spot any evidence of the coal industry, gone are almost all of the slag heaps and pit's but the slags still roam the streets lol. One of the biggest differences i can see from my younger life to now is the pub culture has gone, i used to enjoy a few pints in the local pub talking face to face with people it was something i thought i would still be doing now, since that has gone i don't really know any of my neighbours their all strangers but saying that i like it that way now, There also seems to be a lot more money about or it might be debt because it's probably all on tick. I think i have changed more than anything as in what i used to enjoy in life seems like a bit of a chore now and i have mellowed with age, i used to be a very angry young man but now i tend to let things wash over me and i find life in general is easier and less stressful, probably because i don't care about things that wind a lot of people up such as politics.

Honda has reliability as it's main strength in regards to their image, it's what most people value in a Honda more than other brands be it if it's real or not. That video is exactly what they don't want after loaning some twat a bike. Then again, that's the guy who put in chavvy lights on the back of his bonneville then when on eBay to buy a second hand unit to put back in to make it look classy and stylish. What a wanker! Had lunch with my former father in law today, bit of shopping for food and taking the car to the MOT thing through a monsoon. A brief 15 minutes sunny interval between heavy rains made the streets feel like an episode of CSI Miami Just want to be quiet by myself for a little, and feeling sad, am thinking the evening will be watching a movie with a nice bottle of wine.

I wonder what's the incentive for Honda or other makers to give him bikes to "test". It's not like he gives any bikes credibility. Is it a case of "no such thing as bad exposure"?
