  1. All joking aside, she sounds like she is suffering from depression, probably a good time to find outside help, maybe a support group for mums with toddlers or counselling.

  6. Fucking BT (British Telecom) For 5 weeks these wires have been hanging out of the box on our house, broadband is dropping in and out. They sent an engineer 4 weeks ago who declared that it 'isn't my job' , since then they've opened and closed 3 fault reports saying that the problem has been resolved and yet this morning it still looks like this............. The wankers have sent me a mini-hub (which I didn't ask for) and today they are sending me a super duper new hub which will apparently fix the problem

  9. Mandis birthday tomorrow and she's chosen steak for her birthday meal. This is normally accompanied by boiled spuds and fried onions. I'll do my best to get a pic but once that buggers aroma gets around to house it'll be lucky to get off the griddle.

  11. Sounds very frustrating. Counselling can be expensive, there is a cheaper alternative, duct tape. Tape the annoying person to a chair outside and shut the door, works every time. Also works for snoring, duct tape across the mouth, viola miracle cure. A strip of duct tape in their hair, after some shouting everything is quiet for ages while they try to get it out. You can duct tape the door handles so they can't get in. Duct tape the car doors shut with them inside so they can't get out. Honestly the creative solutions duct tape can provide are endless. Duct tape the true cure-all.

  16. Well out and about with my Ginger Bud today. Bloody cold 2.5C so definite nip in the air. I was surprised to see two warships out in the bay this morning. I say surprised because I haven't see any for weeks and they are normally a common site given my close proximity to Devonport Dockyard. I normally see a couple every week but haven't for months. Obviously something to do with events in the east. Lovely light and not many people around which I do prefer, I like to have the place to myself in a selfish way. I am sure the Dear Boy had a blast and even found a couple of squirrels to chase. Not as good at catching them as rats. Found a bit of boat down on the beach. Always entertains me to find a bit of plate. How does it get there, not as if it floated in.

  17. She had counselling a few years ago because of her childhood and whatnot, I've tried saying it but I'm a cunt for suggesting it to her, I think she needs a mental hospital

  22. It is I agree but she still doesn't need to keep going on the way she does, she isn't too bad when I'm home, when it's just me and skye she's no problem whatsoever, and it's literally all to do with how she speaks to her, she's constantly saying she's sick of being ignored by her and doesn't like it when I say we'll talk to me like that and I will ignore you too so buck ya ideas up and be the adult and change tack instead of just banging your head against a wall. She can't get her head around she's a 2 year old.... its all don't do that or you have to do something how she says where I just let her be herself and if she does something naughty I explain to her why she's in trouble but the wife seems unable to do that and just says my way is moddy coddling her.

  25. You know how annoying it is when you close your jacket, helmet on, gloves on and then you realise that the bike keys are still in your pocket? It’s worse when they’re still in your pocket, but on the jeans that are inside your closed luggage! Been meaning to complain about myself doing this for a few days now

  32. Good news, congrats. Looks like you've cracked it. Just put my Himalayan away in underground parking, did not like to look of the size of the hailstones or raindrops on the weather forecast, they used jumbo smash your bike up sized ones, my first thought was well I haven't suffered any condensation problems yet but leaving it out in that weather is asking for it!

  33. Told me the same when I need the wire moving when having the extension done. They also said it'd cost around £150 so I told them I wouldn't bother reconnecting it. They then gave me a load of legal bollocks why I couldn't touch their wiring on my house. Somehow it's now all connected to the new extension and they didn't do it.

  41. Morning. Glad I got any outdoor jobs finished yesterday because it’s another national holiday today. The Immaculate Conception, which makes me wonder if Mary was superhuman given that baby Jeez was born on Crimble Day and she must of been gestating for over a year Tomorrows weather might not be riding weather? Going to have to find the garage keys which I last saw in April

  42. I've used them and found them good. Only thing I'd do is extend the wires having them right away from the headstock movement.

  43. Not used them myself Bob but that would definitely be better than block connectors

  44. I had a 'catastrophic ignition failure' (my boss's words ) at work today on the donkey as I attempted to go home. No lights, no ignition , nothing. I bought this bike off a mate of mine, when he went to buy it a year earlier the original owner had lost the keys so he had to hot wire it My mate then built in an ignition with a toggle switch built in, I have never been completely happy with it and today it failed. He used block connectors to join the wiring and the constant movement of the wiring around the headstock had caused the terminals to break free from the connectors and hence the failure. We cut the connectors out and re-joined the wiring with solder seal connectors, these make a much neater job and are far less bulky. I just sent my mate a message and he has got a bit bolshy saying that the connectors we've used are rubbish . My boss and me are more than happy with the job, we've both used the solder seal connectors for various wiring jobs in the past and neither of us has had a failure . Does anyone else use these , what are your experience's ?
