Gogs, Gwyddels and Saes. I shall feel right at home. I work with adult men with profound learning difficulties, mental health disabilities and associated violent challenging behaviours. who are deemed to be safe enough to live in the community. But need 24hr care and support. I do nights. Put like that they do sound bad, but the behaviours only happen in the home environment, they are extremely well behaved when outside. They have spent most of their lives in mental institutions, this is supposed to be a step towards full independence, but the reality is they will need this level of support for life.5 points

The excitement is getting to me, we had a fun night where one of the guys, unknown to us, seemed to think it would be a really spiffing idea to throw his bedding out of his bedroom window and then was complaining that he couldn't sleep without his quilt, which at the time was draped over the recycling bin and being enjoyed by a cat!! Sorted him out and then calm was restored until 3am when one of the others woke up and decided he really wanted to go to the Co-op and buy chocolate and despite owning 17 watches didn't know the time, He can't actually read a watch. He was getting quite agitated so, I made him some hot chocolate - laced with valium. (not really - but oh lord, I was tempted) Being threatened with the now familiar line: "I'll put you in hospital" over the inability to buy a milky way at 3 o'clock in the morning. (sigh) And then was banging on about going to Amsterdam to look at the ladies in the red windows for the millionth time, and me, for the millionth time telling him that we're not allowed into Amsterdam because of the virus. no planes. which makes me a liar. (obviously) so fists were raised, again. And so it goes on. I love my job, really I do. I've never been to Pembrokeshire, so its playing on my mind a bit, there is a ferry from Pembroke but the sailing times weren't much use to us, lunchtime is far more civilised!!2 points

My two single actions are Rugers, ones a plow handle the other has a Bisley grip frame made famous by u's guys in well of course, Bisley UK., not that weak Colt the Kid had. both have the sheriff model short 4.62 inch barrells. Very good bear gun up to butt i wouldnt want to shoot a Browm with one unless, all forms of picknic baskets and kneecapping anyone nearby hasnt worked yet. So, one of our favourite people in the World was over for a visit and we were treated to great food and great company as always! I did not take many photos, thank God cause I am rubbish at it (!), but here are some of Pedro's food, very good indeed! A little starter prepared with care to eat while seating on the balcony enjoying the end of the day with a glass of wine Followed by spaghetti with a type of mackerel, a very subtle and truly delicious pasta! Another end of the day, another starter! This time goat's cheese with pumpkin jam I made and, I have to say, turned out very delicious! The combination of these two things is a very traditional Portuguese affair and works marvellously! The doggies agreed!! Day off equals pic-nic! So we went to a nice spot with 100% Pedro's choice of delights! Northern Portugal pork smoked sausage, ewe's milk cheese, local bead and Vinho Verde! Could not be more typical of Portugal!! One doggie already positioned in the drop zone... One never knows what can fall from the Human hand! Although they were catered for by the thinnest and cutest slices of carrot Pedro prepared for them, they loved it! The following day, on returning from a morning of surgeries, lunch was waiting in the form of a carefully selected group of dishes: dahl, fried rice, salted cod in olive oil and garlic and a southern style tomato salad, followed by a desert of strawberries in chocolate sauce!! delicious at the best of times, but on the back of a busy morning it was even better!2 points

You know the criteria by now......it must be your bike and it must have been taken this month. If you make a submission and then get a better shot over the weekend......then just submit the new pic and ask for the old one to be deleted! This submissions thread will be open from now until Sunday evening......at which point the voting thread will then be opened, with voting taking place on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st August. The winner then gets their bike displayed on the front page for the duration of September! So start placing your entries NOW!1 point
