I sure am although it was kind of thrust on me, five years ago this month I slipped a disc at work and as I was around pension age when the insurance ran out I ended up on the age pension, I also moved to a nice little country town that I first rode a bike through in 1974, its nice in the country especially with Covid in the cities, I also drive a school bus twice a week as a supplement so life is pretty good mostly, I'll be 69 in 3 weeks.

The offer on the f750GS has finished now, so if I do it's unlikely to be a new one, Pete. I need to have a sit on the new Trident 660. Seems to have good reviews. But I keep changing my mind about changing the Honda! If it had a few more BHP I probably wouldn't be thinking so much about changing it.

I paid extra for a centre stand on my CB500X. Some bikes can't have them now because of the catalytic converters for the Euro5 take up all the space under the bike.

I was talking to a guy years ago on a GS and we got to talking about different bikes and when i said i had four he said i wish i could afford four bikes, I said if he sold his GS he could as it was a £16000 bike and my four bikes cost me less than £6000 my fifth bike turned up after an accident a few years ago and the compensation from that is the only reason i could buy a new bike.

I can't afford more than one, and If I could I probably wouldn't. I have always preferred to concentrate on one thing at a time.

No, but it is close enough to run an extension cable to it, I am fitting a solar panel to maintain the bike battery and charge a battery for lighting.

Weather is great here, building my metal motorcycle garage this week.

Rooms at the B&B next door go for $350 a night on up... We have nice summers all the time...even our sucky summers are nice to be honest, and then spring and fall are bonitaville. Winter sucks butt fireplaces rock, so there is that. so 3 out of 4 seasons are nice here, thats not to bad.

I love my little Chinese bike, never had any problems with it. A mechanic said to me if you look after it it will be fine, people don’t look after them because they’re cheap, they’re not valued enough to bother taking care of, everyone expects them to break. I’m aware there’s plenty of evidence that they are just crap but I’m sure there’s an element of it being a self fulfilling prophecy.

nope, problem is really that any new job wants to pay minimum legal wage "to start with" which is basically 30% less than I currently earn.
