I drive a 4 WD Ford F150 pick up truck - it's high enough to clear most snow and can get through 24" snow easily enough. Much more than that and it "floats" on top of the snow as the snow packs up underneath it and lifts the wheels up. But it doesn't snow that much very often. 15" of snow is no problem at all. Snowmobiles / snow machines don't interest me too much. It'd be fun but not worth the money required.

Hasn't been above 0C in weeks - although today is supposed to be really warm. But we have 75 mph winds today as well - I just can't win? I may have to toss the bike in the truck and head to Mexico soon to ride.

I'm on holiday for the week. So far I have been to Tesco once and had two rides out on a push bike, it's a bit nippy for that though. Living the dream here. My local river has flooded the paths in my nearest park so I spent a lot of time pedalling through glutinous mud whilst trying to stay upright. Still at least I don't have to answer a zillion emails and I've managed to watch series 1 of The Expanse. A robin landed on a branch about 18 inches from me yesterday as I was walking to Tesco and sat there looking at me with something wriggly in its gob. I locked eyes with it and slowly got my phone out to take a picture. By the time I'd faffed about getting the camera on he hopped into a proper tree, but still quite close. Also just fitted the plastic covers to my new to me fog lights. I hadn't done it before because they only stay on with friction and I was worried they'd disappear and they are bloody expensive. I drilled a few holes and zip tied them on. Need to find some small black zip ties, only had white ones, but they'll do for a while.

People dont know how lucky the USA is to have Canada up there. So, to honour our local Canadians, a why Canada rocks series, first up, this bad ass paint job. Fuckmine is that cool or what?

I was going to come in and respond to this thread's title, but after reading all this I feel bad for saying anything. Ok, over that.... ? My 2021 has been good! Sure I could whine about my shit ass bike breaking every 25km, I could complain about the condition of apples at the grocery store, I could bitch about not being able to do things freely while out and about, I could even be sad about not being able to travel far from home. ? But really, it's all good. I have work, I have a nice place to live, I have some new friends and a bike that works sometimes. So far so good!

That was my subtle hint that we have a place here where you can take photos of planes like that with your both feet on the ground

I haven't ridden since September?. Hope to get out in May though.

Only if you ride it on the road, it's still covered for fire and theft when parked up but you cannot ride it on the road until you have a new MOT and tax but you are covered to ride it to the MOT station after booking an appointment

It’s all rumours they aren’t going to spend all this time and money if it isn’t going to do something, there was a bit on the news here last night a old lady new in a care home had the vaccine when they tested her she was positive, but it looks like the vaccine held the virus in check she had no illness with it, so here’s hoping it does at least calm the symptoms.
