  1. Set off on my annual trip to someplace today. Made it as far as Ogden, Utah after riding around 600 miles for the day. Joing me on this trip is my friend Neil aboard hios GS and friends Dave and Debbie on their GS. Left home in 38F degree (4C) temps and arrived in Ogden at 104F(40C). Didn't take a lot of pics today as we were mostly riding through hpt desert landscapes and soem highways. Did get a few pics at a road works - even has an abandoned house!

  6. Now we all know (perhaps Tym is excepted) that you have to watch your P&Q's nowadays. Apparently you're not allowed to sing that lovely nursery rhyme anymore where you ask the black sheep if he's got any wool So let's see your photos/vids, anything that makes you laugh and feck the PC brigade ? I'll start with Benny Hill, a right wrong-un if ever there was ..........

  12. About 4 years ago i bought these boots and they turned out to be the best all purpose boot in the world half the price of a SIDI and are still waterproof now. Also have a good tread for exploring and climbing about to get a new pair as their on offer at the moment local to where i work https://www.dirtbikexpress.co.uk/boots/adventure_boots/forma_adventure_boots/forma_adventure_boots_-_brown

  13. Decided to take the 650 out tonight for a stomp around the valleys, ended up on a disused railway line probably for taking the stone from the quarries it passes through. The flat topped mountain in the background is called the Sugar Loaf and stands at a massive 596 m LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_Loaf,_Monmouthshire I think I've post photos of this place up before but was just passing through with a mate so decided to have a look around tonight. When taking this photo i spotted something i wanted to take a closer look at Cool a cave the old man in me said move on next thing i'm looking down on the bike. A bit disappointing looking around but i'm sure Pete's mate could sell it LOL Stopped to take a photo of the old iron works in Blaenavon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blaenavon_Ironworks And a ride up over the British heading home, in the distance is the Bristol Channel and Bob land

  15. I don't know how to break this to you Yen.......but me and Windsor Davies are not the only ones with Welsh accents. There are a few others scattered round the place! The number of times when I was in England I'd get some dumb Hanoverian asking me if I knew somebody that he once knew......who happened to be Welsh! Like there's only about a dozen of us in the whole country and we all fucking know each other! I bet you now that the other Welsh boys have had the same!

  17. I was lucky Fred, I bought them off a guy on a forum for £120, he hadn't even worn them and sent me the receipt incase of any problem with them. They are like walking in a pair of slippers compared with the Sidi Adventures but I still use my faithful Sidi Trials boots for trail riding.

  21. I do like the idea of having a couple of videos of myself riding, but the whole idea of setting camera, remembering to turn it on, turn it off, take it off the bike, it all sounds so exhausting and i feel it takes away from the enjoyment of it all. Not to mention that afterwords you've got huge video files to go through and that takes ages, it's not for me.

  29. GoPro all the way, I use a bunch of Hero7 Black's and I have shit kicked my camera's. All weather, all conditions and they just keep going. Love these little cameras. ? The footage is also easy to work with and edit. The GoPro 360Max is a bit harder to edit, but well worth it.

  36. Had a friend in from Washiungton state, he stopped over night befoire heading north to Montana. I agreed to take him as far north as I could before having to head back home. First stop was the rock church in Allenspark. Built around 120 years ago, dunno why it's out in the midst of nothing. Didn't want to get any closer; afraid of lightning strikes, etc...
