  1. Ignore everything negative you've ever heard about Mexico. It was a ride that rivals the Alaska ride, but we had pyramids!!! And, Mayans. 12 people had said they wanted to do the ride, 3 went. i guess the other 9 believe the amurican press too much

  2. I mentioned Suzuki today.....whilst trying to wrestle my DR350's swing arm back into place without the whole thing falling over and without the end caps dropping off every time I nearly got everything lined up. I did not say nice words!

  3. Have been at this company for so long that i get 4 weeks vacation a year. Until doing all this motorcycle traveling, i hadnt really taken advantage of it. Thanks Charlie and Ewan ? The Mexico trip was a little over two weeks. Flew into San Antonio and crossed in Laredo. Flew back from Mexico City (there is a story about being an illegal alien in Mexico i should write about some day)

  4. We did hear a lot of whining from the guy. He had never done a trip that long, and that wasnt the best first bike for a trip of 10,000 miles. He was going to ride it all the way back to Ohio, after Alaska. ? We named that trip the "KTM Enema Relay". You can probably guess why...

  7. If there is one thing Spain has got going for it, is a massive motorcycling culture. Motorcycle racing used to be almost as big as football, lunch time GP racing broadcasted on tv used to have a bigger audience nationwide than football, and most small villages had or have an anual party with the highlight being a small bike road race.

  8. I've still got the 2 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 s, the red ZRX I've had for nearly 20 years, a bikes before this lot, but we didn't take many photos in the sixties early 70s. I loved all of these bikes except the Yamaha XS 750, that pile of shit tried to kill me.

  17. Freaking hot today, butt, i needed my horsepower fix, you can only ride a thumper for so long before you want to throw them off a bridge. So..i visited my grandparents. They should have listened to Bob, he was really sick ya know! And the traditional hands of the hips selfie perfected by non other than our own @XTreme

  18. Nice pics! Let me know if you have any openings for next year's trip. haven 't been able to ride this year for shit, so I'll save up for a longer route next year. That bear in the glass case looks like the Anchorage Airport bear - have a pic somewhere of me next to it.

  21. I have a mate who is totally useless with all things mechanical. A while ago he asked me if i thought he would be able to change the cam chain on his bike himself, i said you got no chance, he said why I've seen videos it doesn't look that difficult. My reply was because the week before when you topped up the 2 stroke oil on your brothers MTX125 you poured it in the coolant header tank and didn't know it was wrong until i pointed it out to you

  22. How many Suzuki DR's can you get in one garage ? This was taken about four years ago. I had two 650's at the time and was transferring all the farkles from one to the other before selling the older bike, on the right is the last 350 I owned (now gone but up for sale by the new owner).

  26. I work in a Ducati shop, we have lots of oil. If it's good enough for those highly strung darlings then it's good enough for my bikes ?
