Still windy here......but not as bad as yesterday.

Leaving it a couple of hours to see if it'll drop a bit more.

No I have the day off tomorrow but both cars failed the mot yesterday so I'm off to ecp to pick up the bits to repair them and I'll be taking the circuitry route home so I'll stop for a proof pic for you layabouts

On her mazda the front right brake pipe is starting to perish and on the jag the rear pads were below the legal limit which is a surprise since they were changed last year so nothing too big, got new pads and new pipe for 44 quid and they get the job of replacing them, the jag has an electronic handbrake and whilst I could do it I don't really have the will to be fucking around on the driveway in the wet/cold

Not too bad then.  If the pads on the Jag have worn down that quick is the caliper seizing up ?

That is a very big possibility, I always use the auto release with the handbrake and I'm going to bet that it's slightly on the sticky side and doesn't quite release the brakes properly so they could well be on ever so slightly without me realising, if so then a 4 way caliper rebuild would be on the way to make sure they are working properly

What I see alot around here...we're in Salt belt so might be different ...pads tend to seize up where the sitt ...so every time you apply the brakes they don't release fully..

Yeah that is the most likely culprit, it does make a slight knock when the brakes release so it is probably that

Club did a camping weekend in Death Valley, recently reopened after the hurricane damage in August.  Still a lot of the roads closed, but main two had been repaired.

Looks desolate. Bet that makes for a calming vibe.

sooo calming.  Campgrounds are quiet and if no wind, pretty much the whole valley is quiet and peaceful.  In fact, on Saturday night, me and two other guys were the noisiest thing in the campground.   According to the camp host 🙂

It was the best weekend we've spent in the last 8 years.  Temps were 80s during day, and high 50s during the night.  Lowest temps didnt happen until very late.
