Well there's a good endorsement. Thanks Bob.

Over here the 45 is slightly cheaper and as they're roughly the same size I went for that one.

As it will be sitting uncharged for sometime I figure it can afford to lose more charge than a smaller unit.

It may also have to do two bikes potentially more than once.

The phone charger element is a big pus. Being a bit stuck was one thing but a dying phone leaves you unable to sort anything out. Contingency plans when you have no connectivity and can't use google translate aren't the most fun 😂

i got one of them ...brilliant bit of kit

As a forum moderator it is my duty to inform you that it's bad etiquette to be taking photos with your pyjamas on.

Please do not do this again ..................

Mr Slowly said I don’t think those clips will fit on your battery.

Cors they will I replied confidently.

Later I think hmm best check if I need to carry other tools to get to it.

The positive is a bit of a squeeze but I can fit them on - just!

Probably should cut that cable tie but for some unfathomable reason the sleep deprivation helped me decide not to 😆

Yep they definitely didn’t pay it due regard.

Getting the bastid thing out is a right royal pita. One of the frames bars cuts across the corner of the battery housing. It has to be levered from behind and pulled from the front in a wriggling motion. Total fail.

Yes Pete I should have got a Honda 😜

Just put a strap round the battery next time it is out, then you can use that to lift the battery out next time.

Good idea, I will but have you seen how much crap (including part of the bike frame) they have running over the side of the battery? It’s ridiculous.041E914E-497A-42B2-8F69-967B6CB77B1A.thumb.jpeg.0ff7aaa164b202def5b0079736169c92.jpeg
