Cool bikes you saw on the street

Not on the street, but I visited a Honda dealership today and they had a couple of the owner's personal classics on display, my favourite one:

Not sure it’s a cool bike but I did think someone should have taken the gold paint away from this fella before he got near the bike.   The photo doesn’t do his vandalism justice but I felt a bit self conscious taking more pictures of the hideous thing.

I do like A K75. Cool bike.   I remember test riding one years ago.   Wish I bought it but I was lured away by a K100RS.    The 75 would have been a much better fir for me with hindsight.

Also not on the street, but @Sofiawanted a sit on one. I am very underwhelmed by it, to be honest. This one has a massive screen and still no bash guard fitted, seems like someone made that tiny sump to specifically be exposed.

That's a big omission in my opinion, even the T700 came with some sort of sump guard.  No doubt Honda want to sell you one as an 'accessory'    :classic_rolleyes:

It was being prepared to a client, I meant it wasn’t fitted as in they were maybe about to do it. I really don’t know, but that bike was just taken out of the shop to please Sofia.

It's typical Honda Bob they just wet your appetite with the bikes their producing but never seem to deliver the main course, companies like KTM and even the chink's produce so many models that i wish Honda would try to compete with but no they wont and i just can't seem to bring myself to buy a KTM or even test ride one

50cc 2 stroke engine built under license from Zundapp by Portuguese company Famel. Used daily for ages I would guess since the late 70s, the top box is ideal for it's purpose, which is to pack a lunch. The owner was very surprised I asked to take a picture and quickly took the coat that was laying on the seat off for a quality picture.

Stopped by my mechanic for a chat and a diagnosis yesterday, and took a couple of pictures. It’s very BMW oriented but still quite the variety

A 69S is a very cool and a bit rare bike.

What's the problem Pedro?

A misfire when starting up a couple of times, probably an ignition coil. Had already ordered them to replace both next week if arrive when I go to change the rubber (accordion like thing in the shaft) and a couple of fork bushings. Relax Pete, not buying a Transalp :classic_laugh:
